  • By Her Subdued: stories of mistresses & goddesses

    Andrews, Grant
  • My Darling Dominatrix: THE erotic BDSM classic.

    Ashbless, Janine
  • Cruel Enchantment: A surprisingly literate collection of darkly romantic gothic erotica. The themes explored here are very much ones of forbidden seduction, hidden desires, and the allure of the unknown. There is a strong supernatural element to all of the stories, of course, but Ashbless does a masterful job of keeping it from completely dominatating the narrative. Hopefully, she'll favour us with another collection soon, or perhaps even expand one or two of the stories into full novels. I, for one, would love to see more of St. Gregory and the Succubus.

    Bannon, Race
  • Learning the Ropes : A Basic Guide to Safe and Fun S/m Lovemaking

    Beresford, Titian
  • Cinderella: the classic fairy tale, as you've never seen it before!

    Block, Francesca Lia
  • Nymph: This is what I would call erotica-concentrate. There are 9 stories here, none more than about 3500 words long, each of them somehow connected to the story that follows. In some cases, it's a character that bridges the gap. In others, it's a setting or a theme. Regardless, these erotically charged vignettes carry us on a fantastic journey through the worlds of sexual healing.
Unlike a lot of erotica, this is not a book that lends itself to skimming or speed-reading. Instead, it's much like a poem in that every paragraph needs to be savoured. Otherwise, you see only the pieces, rather than the puzzle as a whole.
My only complaint about the book (and a small one at that) is the lack of a grand climax or epic conclusion. While the stories do build upon each other, and while the themes do feed off of one another, the ending left me feeling just a little bit empty. Having said that, though, the stories are easily worth reading for themselves.

  • Different Loving : The World of Sexual Dominance and Submission: this is THE book, hon, if you want to know anything about the dom/sub lifestyle.
  • Come Hither - A Commonsense Guide to Kinky Sex: a more personable, enjoyable, and comfortable follow-up to her famously controversial "Different Loving." Designed for both the curious and the experienced, it covers such topics as how to share your fantasies, and how to use all those toys and devices you've been drooling over (grin).

  • When Someone You Love is Kinky: From the women who brought you The Bottoming Book (a personal fave of mine), comes a great new title in the fetish-help genre. If you've ever wanted to tell someone you're kinky, been afraid your kink might be exposed, or even wondered if somebody else is kinky, this book will help you find the answers. Written in an almost conversational style, the book takes a friendly approach to exploring and explaining the appeal of various fetishes. Best of all, they authors have stayed away from any deep psychological theories or technical jargon, ensuring that both you and the person you're sharing with can understand and enjoy. Includes: guidlines for coming out, vanilla descriptions of the wildest kinks, suggestions on how to best communicate your kink, a discussion on safety measures, and a handy resource guide for further assistance.

    Kloster, Doris
  • Forms of Desire: An erotic, playful collection of fetish photography that combines the desires & fantasies of female sexuality.

    Knight, Amarantha
  • The Darker Passions - Frankenstein: While the prose is somewhat uneven and flat in places, there's more than imagination/inspiration here to capture anyone's interest. Knight's basic premise is to take the immortal creation of Mary Shelly and put a darker, perverted twist upon it. In this psuedo-sequal, the 'darker passions' of humanity are allowed to rise to the surface of Frankenstein's monster. Granted, some readers may be put off by the emphasis on horror over eroticism, but it's a story well-worth checking out.
  • Seductive Spectres: Having already conquered the erotic possibilities of Frankenstein's monster and Dracula himself, Knight enlists an all-star team of authors to help explore ghostly seduction. Featuring new fiction from the likes of Brian Lumley, Thomas S. Roche, Nancy Kilpatrick, Gemma Files, and John Mason Skipp, this is a collection that should belong in just about any library.

    Morgan, Aishling
  • Devon Cream: the story of Octavia Challacombe, a beautiful young innocent who becomes perverted and corrupted by the wicked Maray family. Along with a group of other buxom Devon girls, she is cajoled and teased into submission, and forced to provide her own breast milk ever more peculiar uses!
  • Tiger, Tiger: This is one of those books that's ALL about eroticism, but it's so daring and creative, you won't mind at all. Imagine the "Island of Dr. Moreau," transposed into a gothic setting, and spiced up with a little 90s erotica and you start to get the idea. Morgan's world is a bizzare one, populated by beautiful half-human creatures with all the sexual prowess of a wild animal, and victim of political/social conflicts that put White House sex scandals to shame. What's more, this is a narrative that mirrors it's subject matter -- deceptively simple and smooth at first, but with a depth of complexity and talent that reveals itself a little more with each passing page.

  • Bound to Be Free: The Sm Experience

    Nabokov, Vladimir
  • Lolita: this is it, the controversial bestselling classic about love and lust that crosses a wide generation gap

    Norman, John
  • Captive of Gor: The first Gor novel written from the slave-girl's point of view. A true BDSM fantasy, it tells the tale of a spoiled, rich, woman snatched from Earth & taken to Gor - where she discovers her true calling as a sexual submissive.
Tarnsman of Gor: Volume 1 in the controversial & misunderstood saga of Tarl Cabot (its entertainment, hon - not political philosophy!). Snatched from Earth by slavers, Cabot is transported Gor, a Conan-type fantasy world where D&S relationships are the norm. The swords & sorcery plots are entertaining, Cabot is an aweseome hero, and the scenes of sexual submission are superb (continues in Priest-Kings of Gor, Nomads of Gor, and many more).
