The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Caucus is one of several caucuses of the Boston University School of Social Work Student Organization. The caucus provides support and resources to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender social work students, as well as a forum for discussion related to GLBT issues, particularly in the field of social work.
Please make sure to check back here for information about our group meetings and our plans for the fall semester.
Thanks to everyone who made this year a productive one for the caucus! We were able to see the beginning of greater inclusion of glbt issues in the curriculum, and have begun an important dialogue between glbt social work students and faculty. Congratulations to the graduating caucus members! Stay tuned for updates this summer as we begin planning for next year. Feel free to email us with your ideas and feedback!
