A bit about your hostess, J.

This page is to tell you a bit about me, particularly my purpose in being online as expressed through my Woman-Centered Erotica Resources Page (and my internal AOL profile). Sensuality and eroticism, and appreciation of the attractiveness of both sexes, have been part of my life as long as I've been aware of my sexuality. But I had never really shared that intimately with anyone until after college, having waited unfruitfully for "Mr. Right", and been left wondering why my most enticing propositions had come from women. I finally got tired of waiting for a wonderful man, figuring I should go ahead and experience more of life, and low and behold it turned out to be a wonderful girlfriend with whom I fell in love and shared my erotic desires. In the ensuing years I kept up my search for "Mr. Right" and found romance and eroticism with several men, but had quite a few more female lovers cross my path as well.

In late 1989, after the breakup of a long-term live-in relationship with a man that had followed several brief affairs with women, I decided maybe I was making a fundmental mistake in expecting "Mr. Right" to ever show up, and placed the following ad in the "Women Seeking Women" personals section of the "alternative" weekly magazine in a large city I lived near:

"WORLDLY LADY MYSTIC More jungian than new age, unconventional but swimming in the mainstream, seeking ladyfriend for temporal, intellectual, and spiritual adventures. I'm an active SWBiF, 28, high-tech professional. If this piques your interest, let's say more!" To make a long story short (though you might get me to tell you the entirety later), a woman answered who made me feel things from the emotional to the sensual that no man ever had, and I'm now a late-30s bisexual lady who's been entirely into the lesbian side of my romanticism and sexuality ever since. I maintain a very mainstream, respectable, and "straight" seeming life and appearance; I'm what in some gay circles they call a "professional girl", and might even get pegged as a "lipstick lesbian" though I only complement my normally fashionable attire with makeup for very special occasions, though I still fundamentally identify as bisexual. But in everyday life, underneath classic clothes and below a conservative pair of earrings lurks a wild loving lady with piercing rings through quite a few pretty parts and erogenous zones. This other side that needs to have have it's due, and the Internet, and these pages, give me a bit of a chance to play and to act out.

To be honest about it, I guess life is a bit less exciting and romantic these days, and the 'net fulfills a certain desire. Back when I placed that ad I was fully coming into my sensuality, and thanks to having sold my interest in a high-tech startup I had plenty of leisure time to work out and sun by the pool. Nowadays I'm hard at work again, I no longer have the time to keep up my tan or work out enough so that I can wear really tight and revealing clothes, and it seems like all too many parts of my body are starting to either fill out or sag a bit. Lots of the women I used to work out with, and go out and party with, have settled down with partners, and quite a few of these couples are even having children! What I'm doing with my life now suits and fulfills me, but I'm also starting to look back nostalgically on my wilder and more glamorous days. Perhaps the slightly voyeuristic thrill I used to get by showing up at the pool in a really skimpy bathing suit, or going out wearing a tight and revealing outfit, I can now relive here by revealing sexy parts of my life to you. The 'net provides me a place to "let it all hang out", to come out and play in a sort of public way I choose not to do in daily life.

I've also had some particularly rewarding personal exchanges with bisexual women, and women curious about or coming to grips with their sexual interest in other women. For some of them, my pages and the stories of how I became involved with other women have apparently been informative and useful. I really enjoy hearing from women who are dealing with these issues and interests in their lives, and hope in the future to create a web page to offer some useful advice and information. I'd also like to correspond and exchange materials with other women who are interested in true woman-oriented erotica whether it be written, still or moving images; and whether it be soft or hardcore. Oh, a bit more about me? Yes, let's not make this too entirely a sexual thing. I work in high-tech, and have a job that has me traveling a fair bit as well as working out of my house a lot. The favorite part of my job is the contact with people I get when I'm traveling and going into other companies - purely professional and friendly, I try hard to keep my personal interests out of it. My general interests include enjoying the great outdoors, from my own backyard to the Rocky Mountains. My greatest voyeuristic thrill these days is workingin my yard and garden in one of my european tan-thru (but not see-thru) tank suits and mesh shorts, which is hardly scandalous, though I do get a few looks if I'm in the front yard. I used to hike and cycle a lot, and keep telling myself I'll get back to it when work slows down a bit, but in the meantime get most of my exercise working in my garden and walking in the neighborhood. I also used to dance a lot - I love ballroom and Country-Western (I'm better as lead than I ever was as follow with men), and when I went into Denver there at least used to be lesbian dance clubs - but I haven't had any lady dance partners for awhile. A quite dinner party at the house, followed by a conversational soak in the outdoors hot tub - preferably au naturel - is my main social activity these days.

Above you've seen me from the top, and now you'll see me from below -- here captured when I was wearing a diaphanous skirt without much underneath, the sort of thing I'd only wear in a more intimate social setting. If you haven't gathered already, I'm built more like an amazon than a waif, a quality I admire in other women more than society's thin and frail ideal. I was an athlete in high school, which built these nice full calves and thighs. I also have feet that aren't exactly the dainty things that women's shoes were designed for, which is just fine as I can't stand uncomfortable shoes anyway, so while these gams look great in heels I'll take stylish but comfortable flats for any occasion thank-you-very-much. And skip the hosiery unless the weather or the occasion really requires, in which case I'll go all out with real stockings, and most likely silk ones at that...you'll never catch this gal in pantyhose.
