This is a page about my struggles to come to term with being a transgendered. I hope it might help someone to learn and understand what transgenderism is all about.

I am Miss X...

Because I have yet to come to grips with my woman side, I am not sure yet which name will eventually be mine in the feminine world, so Miss X seemed appropriate...

Although the feeling of being "different" and my thoughts sometimes strayed to things rather unconventional for a man, up till a few months ago, I always managed to repress those feelings.

Since they have surfaced yet again about 6 months ago, however, and I gave in to them, it seems as if they have taken a life of their own. I desperately yearn to wear those feminine undies that make me feel so good and so right, yet at other times my feelings of guilt are nearly overwhelming. I often feel as if the feelings control my life, yet I know I must be the one in control of my emotions.

What causes an apparently "normal" man to have those yearnings? Why do I feel like this at nearly 40 years of age? I am trying to come to grips with this, and will do so here, hoping to help someone else who might be going thru the same thing, and helping myself in the process.
