Friends

Every life serves a purpose
each tree that lives for hundreds of years
each insect that exists for only a day
each person that comes into being
are ripples in the ocean of life.

Some ripples cause tidal waves
that leave devistation in their paths
some ripples are small
yet they can touch many shores
and leave eternal impressions in their passing.

Each soul that we touch in our lives
imparts in our hearts an impression
from each joy and each hurt that we feel
we learn, we grow and we change
in small ripples that give shape to our futures.

The holy spirit of God
is the spirit of life and love that dwells in each of us
it touches our lives and connects our souls
binding us together forever
in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is profound beauty in all of God's creations
the harmony of earth and nature
the cycles of life and death and renewal
but the greatest gift to his children
is the gift of love and friendship.

and God bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
