The truth can be uncomfortable.
Is it better to live in ignorance
where Satan reigns as king?
When you looked down upon your victim's corpse,
did your soulds scream in triumph, "Justice is ours!"
or in sorrow, "Lord forgive us! What have we done?"
Or did you only feel an emptiness
where once God touched your hearts?
When His tears fell from Heaven,
did they touch you
as you stood in the kingdom of ignorance
beneath the throne of your new king?
