Chocolate chip cherry bars


2 rolls chocolate chip cookie dough
1 roll sugar cookie dough
2 15 oz. cans tart cherries (in liquid, not syrup)

Keep all cookie dough refrigerated until just before use.

Line a large 1/2 inch deep cookie sheet with sugar cookie dough.  Crumble 1 roll of cc cookie dough on top.  Drain and crush cherries and sprinkle evenly.  Move cherries around if necessary so they fall between dough crumbs.  Crumble the other roll of cc cookie dough over the cherries.

Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes or until top turns brown.  When cool, cut into 1X2 inch squares.

Makes 48 bars.
