| I am a Transsexual (TS). I
was born in a city called Cornwall. Its between Ottawa and Montreal on
the New York border. I am the third child of four (all males). My parents
always wanted only one child, a girl. I had a fair child life except that
I have know since about age 5-6 that something was wrong. Mother nature
screwed up and medical science will fix it up. I graduated high school
in 1982 and spent 2.5 years in the military. You know to try to be a man.
That did not work. I was just too emotional of a person. I had about two
dozen jobs in a ten year period. Started working for A. L. Williams financial
company in 1988. Met a wonderful girl named Marta with two boys. We hit
it off and after a year had a beautiful daughter name Katrina.
But after 5 years together I could not handle myself. I needed to be Michelle.
Everything blew up 4 days after my daughter's fourth birthday. Four months later, after being really really really depressed, I finally couldn't take it as a man anymore and saw a specialist in the field. In February 1996 I was diagnosed as TS. When I finally wanted to start HRT (hormones), I was sent to Ottawa for testing to make sure ( Clark Institute's orders ) I was TS. Trust me, the testing is a joke. I passed with flying c ol ou rs. Well I decide to finish school before going full time. But wanted to start HRT in October. The best in the field, in Ottawa, couldn't fit me in until till Feb. 1997 (updated to Jan 31/97). So it will be a full year from diagnosis to HRT. Then in Jan. 1998 FULL TIME. |
