Part Four - Joan's Bra and Prosthesis Shop

{{GULP}}, I thought as I met this business-like woman. She must have sensed my discomfort, and she ushered me into her fitting room. If you've read about shops which cater to women who have needed mastectomies, you'd understand immediately that this room was very tastefully furnished, and completely private. It was soothing -- even my A E calmed quickly and we relaxed.

Joan introduced herself further, and described her business, and how discrete her normal business required her to be. She said she had over an hour without a client appointment, and that she'd like to help me if she could. A bit more pushing and pulling, turn this way and that, and she sized up the dress' problem -- not enough Dee in the critical areas. "I've had the opportunity to do some shows with a Dallas CD club, and had a few of their members come in for forms," she started. "That gown is lovely, but you need the same kind of help I've given to the other CD girls," she continued with a confident and warm smile. "Undo the dress, let me see what we can fit you with, and then try some forms in it."

During the fitting (bend, slip your arms here, snap, fluff, lift and lower your arms... "No, this should fit a bit better...") we talked about my A E's business and more. Since he does information technology for a living, Joan took the liberty of asking some questions -- her business computer system didn't meet her expectations, and the programming that filed Medicare and insurance claims for her did not work right. The discussion continued alternating among CD topics, the bra and form fitting, and her computer problems.

We decided that a pair of Amoena enhancing forms (designed with hollow backs) would be a good start, and with the right bra, the dress fit perfectly and the needed cleavage seemed to appear by magic. An easy sale, but the right size forms were to be ordered.

As we were concluding the paperwork for the purchase I found I had a consultation appointment for a week later to review her computer problems and give her an estimate. She hoped the forms would be in by then.

We bought the dress and the bra, and paid a small deposit on the forms, thanked everyone and left.
