Here's the back yard with the new landscaping. It has a ways to grow, but it's coming along pretty nicely so far. I've always wanted a nice yard, but never had a chance to really do it up, so finally I'm getting to it.

Here's another view of the back yard stuff around the deck.

This is the front yard landscaping taken around August. Next year is about when everything will be the right size, but you get the idea.

This is me holding a baby. Wow - no one can believe it, but it's my nephew. Here's Luke when he was really young. He's so much bigger now it's unbelievable, so I'll try to get some other photos on here soon.

This is Brad's pride and joy :) We just had to have it when we saw it, and we both love the classic lines and enjoy the security of having twin engines when we are out on the big lake (Erie).

I've got a pic of Brad driving, but it's not scanned yet so you will just have to imagine him shouting orders from here :) I've got to get one showing him on the fly bridge where we drive when it's sunny and warm out.

Here's the engine bay. Like I mentioned before, one of the reasons we bought this boat is that it has twin 6 cylinder I/O drives for great control when maneuvering and added security when far away from shore.

We're both enjoying ourselves on a friend's boat. We had such a good time we had to get one of our own!

Ahhhh...my first convertible! It was only 35 degrees the day we picked it up, but I drove around with the top down anyway! It was my first company car since I left the field, and we really enjoyed it last summer. I got rid of it in time for Winter, but I may get another one next Summer if it is warmer out than this year has been.

Here's me being a total bum. Like I always say, "I'd be the laziest person on earth, if I wasn't so greedy!" If nothing else, I was keeping the cats entertained...

I visited Mom in June and we built this shed in her backyard. Aren't I a nice helpful Son? She painted it and landscaped it after I left. It's sitting on 2,500 lbs of concrete so it won't go anywhere in a hurricane!

Here's Brad's B-day present to me. It'll do over 40 mph and runs on alcohol - how cool huh? I managed to crash it the other day so I've got some work to do on it over the Winter, but it'll be ready to race next Spring.

Here's Brad sailing the boat on his maiden sailing voyage! He enjoyed it quite a bit so hopefully we'll do it again sometime in the future. At the least, we'll do it on a cruise ship :)

This is my Grandad and me at his new place in North Carolina. We got to visit him this trip, and that's always nice. We plan to see him again at Christmastime down in Raleigh.

This is my Dad and I on his new boat. The three of us motored out to Cape Lookout over some rough seas until we were in this lagoon. Boating is always good for some relaxation!

Mom and I are both in the kitchen, but trust me, I am not doing the cooking! We stayed with her for a week and had a great time. We'll stay with her at Christmas this year if she'll have us again!

This is the new place taken in late summertime. We love the trees in the neighborhood and we have nice neighbors too.

Brad and I built this shed the first week living here. The new garage is attached, but smaller than the old one, so we needed room (I did anyway) for mowers, tools, welders and other instruments of destruction.

Here is our new back yard. We use the hot tub on really cold nights. No one is outside so we can skinny dip after dark :) No peeking!

Here is the house taken in autumn after the leaves turned. Michigan can be beautiful in the Fall.

This is the view as you enter our subdivision. Luckily, there are lots of cute guys to stare at in the neighborhood :)

Here's my New Year's resolution! I am trying to gain weight and get to 160lbs by July 1st. I want to look HOT when I mow the lawn shirtless this Summer :)

Here's my Mom's new house in North Carolina. I helped her move from CA last May in a big moving truck...THAT was such fun!

Here's the back of the house. She's only 5 minutes from my Sister's place (poor Sis) in the Raleigh Durham area.

We celebrated Christmas at our house this year, and Brad's folks came down from Canada for a couple of weeks to visit and see our house. We had a live tree for the first time together :)

Here's Brad's Mom and Dad taken before I met him. Aren't they spiffy!

We went to a Hancock family reunion last summer and I met a lot of his relatives. Here's most of Brad's immediate family that were there.

This is Brad and his folks taken right after we met. He was up helping them renovate their new place outside of Brighton, ON where they have miniature horses.

Here are our kitties! We visited the Humane Society 2 years ago and ended up with three from the same litter. Their names are Daphne, Niles and Frazier :)

This is a picture of our old house taken a last Spring. We sold it just in time to prevent having to make two house payments!

My dad and stepmom came up in Spring 2000 and we built this new deck on the old house. I was out working on it after they left in the heat, and I ended up with a kidney stone...OUCH to the MAX!!! My first emergency room visit!

Here is our old back yard. It was very relaxing and cozy except for the boom boom boom of the mid-eighties Caprice Classics cruising the street with their stereo's cranked!

Our friend Doug took this at his apartment with his cool new digital camera. Doug now lives in Texas.

This is me petting a kangaroo. No, it's not a park, it's a public campsite near Katherine Gorge in Oz! Aren't they cute!

Here's me taken from Kowloon with the Hong Kong skyline behind me. It's a neat city for sure! Still the same even though it's China!

Here is me AGAIN! We took a boat out to go SCUBA diving on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. What a blast! Awesome sights, but no sharks - too bad!

This is a picture of Jeremy by a friend's motorcycle. He has his own bike since this photo was taken!

This is the Eurostar train that goes under the English Channel to paris. It hits a top speed of 300kph (186mph).

The view from the Arc de Triomphe in paris. We went there in September of 1996. We also went to Disneyland paris and other sights.

This is where I lived in California, USA. Since I was a military brat, I moved a lot. I lived here longer than anywhere else (6 years).

This is the car I had in Florida - a far cry from the B-reg (that's 1985 for all you colonials) Austin Metro I had in England. At least it was good DIY practice :)

My Dad just finished his house before I moved to England. It's on the marina in North Carolina. That's my Dad watering his new lawn!

Here I am on my Dad's boat. That's me in the boat, and that's as close to naked as you'll get to see.

This is my Dad and his best friend, Dave. No, neither one of them is gay!

My Mom and her X boyfriend, Bill, taken 2 years ago. She's now a swingin' single mama so snap her up while you can!!!

Here's my Sister, Shannan and her husband, Tom. She's almost two years younger than me, and they returned from Indonesia in 1999 and live in Raleigh, NC now.

This is my best friend, Andy. He's like a brother to me, and I don't know what I would have done without him over the past several years. He's sitting on his favorite car, a 1990 Bonneville SSE (that fell apart soon after this pic was taken!!!).

My friend, James, lives in Kissimmee, FL near Orlando. I was there for a year before moving to England - wish I could go back!

This is me at Stonehenge. Dave and I went there in the Summer of 1995.

This is the house I lived in while in England. It's in Great Wakering near Southend-on-Sea in Essex in the Country.

Samantha and Tabatha are named after the show "Bewitched" since they are black kitties. Sammy lives in Ann Arbor, and Tabby passed away from engine coolant ingestion last Fall :( NEVER let your car leak coolant as it will kill animals quickly.

This is PJ's cat that used to be mine (PJ was my first boyfriend). His name was "Kirk" and he lived in Royal Oak, MI USA. Unfortunately, he passed away at a young 7 years last Fall :( Bad x-kitty karma last Fall...
