    This Program ("OAF99.INF") plus its associated documentation is provided
  at no cost and although I may answer questions directed to me about it,
  can not be expected to give support for any requests. Use "at your own
  risk" (See the standard DISCLAIMER below).

    The contents of these files may be updated as time allows.

  --->>> FOR MORE INFORMATION about all the changes "Open Any File 99"
          makes to your Registry, extract the .GIF files and "OAF99.htm"
          into the same folder and open OAF99.htm with a web browser.

  Installing "Open Any File 99"
 ===============================

 1. If you have PGP 5 or 6, you might wish to check the integrity of the
    files before installing. (See the sigfiles.txt concerning this.)

 2. Extract the file "OAF99.INF" to any folder you wish. A TEMPORARY
    install folder is just fine!

 3. Right-click (that's RIGHT CLICK; not double-click!) on the file
    " OAF99.inf " and on the pop-up menu that appears, select (click on)
    the word "Install". You may now delete the file; store OAF99.ZIP
    somewhere to use again. (Give a copy to a friend.)

 4. You can check for the name "Open Any File 99" in the Windows Control
    Panel's "Add/Remove Programs" if you wish to verify that it registered
    correctly.
      Open "My Computer" or "File Explorer" and find an "un-associated" file
    somewhere on your computer. Double-click on the filename... It should
    open in Notepad immediately; unless it's over 64 KB, in which case you
    will be asked if it's OK to open it in WordPad.
      Right-click on ANY file and you should see "Notepad" listed as an item
    on the menu.
    [Note: Windows(tm) NT's NOTEPAD.EXE program does NOT have the 64kb size
     limitation that Windows(tm) 95/98 have!]

 Uninstalling the Registry Changes
 =================================

 1. Open the Control Panel: On the START Menu, choose Settings ->
    Control Panel.

 2. Open "Add/Remove Programs": Find the Control Panel called Add/Remove
    Programs and double-click it.

 3. Removing them: Select the "Open Any File 99" item on the list, then
    click the button marked "Add/Remove". No dialog will appear... the
    changes made to your Registry by " Open Any File 99 " will be
    immediately  erased.
