          What are the .sig ("Signature") Files ?
          =======================================

      These are small 66 byte files which are comprised
   of a digitally encrypted code from my ("The Starman")
   PGP Secret Key file which was used to "sign" my batch
   and .pi files found in this ZIP distribution.

      These two files are for people who want to verify
   that their copy of these files is not being faked by
   someone claiming to be me...

      In order to do this, you must install (or already
   have) the PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) Freeware program.
   Although the .sig files will work with version 5.5
   that was being distributed by PGP, you might want to
   upgrade to version 6.0 from Network Associates at:

   <http://www.nai.com/products/security/pgpfreeware.asp>

   ( With this new version, you can actually include a
   photo along with your Public Key! See a pic of Phil
   Zimmermann, the author of PGP, or a mug shot of The
   Starman.
      More importantly, there are new plugins to make
   sending encrypted email much easier! The size of the
   install file for version 6.0.2 was 5,664,172 bytes,
   but well worth the effort I think.)

      You can obtain my Public Key from one of these
   PGP Key servers:

          Idap://certserver.pgp.com    or
	  http://pgpkeys.mit.edu:11371 ...

   which are very easy to access with the new version of
   PGP Freeware 6.0, or send me email using the form at:

   < http://www.geocities.com/Athens/6939/Feedback.html >

   and I'll send you a signed copy of my Public Key.
   (The short fingerprint is:  " 0xC5E0ADD0 ".)

   The Starman.   03/28/1999.  01:23:00.
