Princess Haley Jo and Shadow

We lost Little Joe on January 25, 2006.
He was an adorable little fellow, so soft and gentle. He had a heart attack.

AGAINST ALL ODDS

Ranger Red Chief, named for Chuck Norris' TV Show, Walker- Texas Ranger and the O'Henry story, was born with hypoglycemia and was always weak and frail. He was given Nutri-Cal for appetite and weight gain...and while he was always small, he was TOUGH!!! So many times we thought we would lose him. Once his hair came out and he looked like a little plucked bird. He would bounce back and be OK. His birthday was September 20 and he left us on May 15, 2008 at the age of 11. He was a special little guy that we will miss for always.

Peke Avenue is the home of several spoiled Pekingese and many adopted cats. We lost our little guinia pig, Trudy and, since most of our Peke kids are getting older now, we seem to be losing them too too often. We lost our cockatiel, Gabby, she was 15. We lost Smokey Foo Bear, our "main man" Peke on June 23, 2006. We will always miss this magnificent little fellow. Since then we have lost Lucy Furr, Prissy, Amber, Little Joe, Ranger Red Chief and Puppy Sue.

Puppy Sue

This site features our dogs and kitties in special areas of the avenue. We designed it so that each animal could "specialize" in a venture of fun.

We have several furangels at the Bridge watching over our home and hold the treasure of their memory in our hearts daily. We hope you will enjoy your visit here.

In August of 2002 we relocated to Oklahoma and live out in the country now. They get to watch the large farm type equipment as our neighbors do some building; they see skunks (eeeeewwww!),an oppossum now and then, lots of outdoor cats and plenty of birds.

Lucy Furr, a sibling who was sold as a puppy, came back to live with us too.

Shadow and Tuffy always celebrate a NEW YEAR'S DAY birthday, 14 yrs old in 2009. That was Puppy Sue's birthday too. Their pretty sister, Prissy, went to the Bridge on August 1, 2007. Prissy dressed up once for a contest...see below.
