Sd.Kfz.250/4 was originally to be an air defense armored vehicle (leichte Truppenluftsch�tzenpanzerwagen) armed with twin (Zwilinglafette 36) 7.92mm MG34 machine guns but it was not produced. Instead, observation and fire directing vehicle for self-propelled artillery units (e.g. Sturmgesch�tz) was produced.
