Season 6? Will the X-files continue after
the movie?
Obviously there are rumours abound with this one. With
'The X-Files' recently being voted by some of the USA's top critics
as number 5 in the top 10 TV programmes now on in the USA and
with the millions of dollars made every year through merchandise
sales it seems unlikely that FOX will let go of such a valuable
commodity.
Latest reports are that both DD and GA have signed up
for 2 more years (with GA finally getting the same pay as DD)
and that the show will almost certainly be filmed in LA (despite
CC's statements to the contrary). CC has said that he will almost
definitely stay for one more year but DD and GA have both said
that they won't do the show without CC- either way it looks as
if the show will stay in CC's hands. Meanwhile control of Millennium
has been handed over to Glen Morgan and James Wong who have decided
to add a more supernatural element to the show and will possibly
be introducing a partner for Frank Black.
