If you female Bassets can control yourselves for a minute, I'd like to tell you a bit about myself. I graced this world with my presence on February 24, l993 (in Kansas, they tell me) but now I am dazzling the ladies in Pennsylvania. I don't remember how I got here but I sure am living the good life. I'm what you would call short, dark-eyed, and handsome. This description doesn't do me justice, you need to see it for yourself. Allow me to tell you a little bit about my life here in Pennsylvania. I live on 17 beautiful acres with my family. Donnie and Karen are my folks and I have a younger brother, Barney the Beagle. Barney's a cool dude, I mean dog - check him out, he's just a little guy. I sometimes give Barney a hard time but he's a good sport about it and he keeps coming back for more. We go hunting rabbits together and as you know, we Bassets are no fools. I let Barney do all the leg work while I slowly and methodically wait for him to flush the little guys out of the brushpiles. This is where I really shine. I do my barking and make a short chase to impress everyone. Of course I never intend to actually catch one, why should I? They will expect it of me everytime (I'm nobody's fool!.) Due to my versatility as a hunter and my excellent sniffer, no pheasant can hide from me, I will find them everytime.
