Mary Amato is my niece and I am very proud of her as she graduated from the Marine boot camp in North Carolina March 5, 1998. CONGRATULATIONS MARY! YOU GO, GIRL!
MARY IS FINISHING UP SPENDING A YEAR IN JAPAN THIS JULY.
IN May of the year 2000, MARY passed the Marine Winter Survival Course! She is the VERY FIRST WOMAN in the HISTORY of the Marines to ever PASS this very grueling and trecherous course. Many Marine men even drop out. I salute you, MARY! We are all very, very proud of you! CONGRATULATIONS!
