As the Gospels make clear our Lord, Christ used to go away by himself to pray to the heavenly Father. Before important decisions, the Lord would pray, sometimes through the entire night. Maybe we could try that apporach in our life, praying before making decisions. Prayer should be base on our personal Love for our God. The plea of the Apostles to Christ was "Lord, teach us to pray". We need to make that our plea "Lord teach us to pray". This, then, is how you should pray: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name." Matthew 6:9 We can converse with the GOD of the universe. When we bow our heads and utter God's name, we have an audience with a King more powerful than the president of any earthly country.... We grow when we pray. By uniting our will with God's, we can see ourselves making progress toward becoming more like God would want us to be.

Most Holy Heart of Jesus, I love You.
Pray for us O Holy Mother of GOD, that we may be made worthy of the promises of your Son Jesus!
THE TWELVE APOSTLES
Twelve men chosen by Christ to teach. They were given a privileged position. They were responsible for the information about Jesus that developed into the gospel tradition. The twelve were Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James the Less, Jude, Simon the Zealot and Judas. They were with Jesus at the Last Supper. Mark 14:17 After Judas died he was later replaced by Matthias. (Matthias stoned to death then beheaded.) There were other people who formed part of Jesus' entourage. They were often called brothers of the Lord. Among them were James, Joseph, Jude and Simon. They were "relatives" of Jesus. Greek speaking Semites used the term brother or sister, not in only the ordinary sense of blood brother or sister but also for nephew, niece, half-brother, half-sister and cousin. Mark 6:,1-6
