Compiling hello.c

  • The program can be compiled using:
       gcc -o hello hello.c
  • For DOS or Windows variant:
       gcc -o hello.exe hello.c
  • Other programs can be compiled similarly. To run it, type:
       hello
  • What is the output?
    Hello world!
    |     <-- This is the cursor.
