The Battle of the Atlantic...A Memorial

Sailor's Memorial in Halifax

The Royal Canadian Navy lost 24 Warships, and more than 2000 personnel during the Battle of the Atlantic. They fought a deadly, invisible foe, under the most adverse conditions imaginable, witnessing the sheer terror death at sea brings. They faced their battles with courage, pride, and unfailing determination. They must be remembered for their sacrifices, that have left a legacy of Peace that their Children and Grandchildren enjoy today...and will in the Future.
Lest We Forget........
