Jesus is alive and well and waiting for a personal audience with you. God loves you.
When you read this statement, do you think, �Yeah, I�ve heard that before�?
Well, I�m not just going to tell you that God loves you
I am going to show you that God loves you
God loves you more than you could ever imagine.
He loves you so much that He designed a plan before you were even born to make sure you spent eternity with Him.
Why is this plan necessary?
Lets start at the beginning.
God created man and woman in his own image
They had a relationship with God and He talked with them and was in authority over them.
But they made a choice to disobey God and this was sin.
This sin caused them to be separated from God. God is holy and He will not tolerate sin.
Because they were the Mother and Father of the human race, their sin passed to us
This sin covers every human born in to the world
And as you grow up you will act in sin
The bible says, �For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.� Romans 3:23
You can�t get rid of sin
You can�t be free from sin
You can�t escape sin
Not on your own.
God has offered us hope to return to that relationship we had with Him in the beginning, free from sin and shame.
The Bible says, �For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes on Him will not perish but will have eternal life.� John 3:16
Jesus was sent here by God to die on the cross and cleanse the world from the filth of sin.
Only Jesus could do this because He had no sin. The blood He shed on the cross, cleanses us.
To be free from your sin is a choice
The bible says it this way, �The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.� Romans 6:23
Jesus is the only way that we can be cleansed from sin.
He himself spoke these words, �I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man can come to the Father (God) but by me.� St. John 14:6
When we accept Jesus as our savior we escape the punishment of sin, which is death and separation from God for all eternity.
How do you accept Jesus?
You must admit that you are a sinner.
You must confess that you believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again from the dead Romans 10:9
You must confess your sins to Jesus and ask Him to forgive you
You must ask Him to come into your heart and cleanse you from sin
You must ask Him to be Lord of your life and be obedient to Him
You must believe that He has come into your heart, cleansed you, and set you free
You can hold on to this truth in the bible. �If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us for our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.� I John 1:9
You personally have to ask for forgiveness. No one can do it for you.
You can pray this prayer. Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I believe you died for me. I believe that you are alive having risen from the dead. I ask that you forgive me for my sins and cleanse me. Come into my heart, Jesus, and be Lord of my life.
