There is Meaning to Life . . .
Have you ever wondered if there is a God?  And if there is, why would he let such pain and suffering exist.  If you have wondered about these things, you are probably also tired of explanations that don't make any sense.

I have been fortunate enough to have discovered a religion that answers all the questions.  Naturally, I would like to share this with others..  I would like to try to explain in this small space,  why I now understand life does have meaning.
After we die we shed our earthly body and our soul passes on to our true eternal life.   It is easy to become attached to our worldly goods, but we will shed them with our body when we pass on.
     Some people find it difficult to let go of material things and do evil to gain more.  Sometimes we see evil people do well in this world and that makes us think that God does not care enough to stop it.  But one of the most important cornerstones to our spiritual growth is that we live in freedom.  Because we all live in freedom we can do evil or good, and in choosing we grow in that direction which our love has led us.
     Justice comes to evil souls when they pass on to the other side.  There the state we are in ensures that  souls that are in harmony are attracted to each other.  Evil souls are bonded with other evil souls,  just like themselves, for eternity.  It is a bond of their own making.
     Conversely,  good people are bonded together for eternity.  Can you imagine a worse hell that two evil people bound together for eternity, forever taking from each other (because the nature of evil is selfishness.) But try to imagine a more sublime Heaven than two generous souls together in eternity.
     God made the world out of Love because he is Love.

The founder of the religion I was blessed to have been led to was a scientist who died in the 1700's in Sweden. In his life he had mastered all the sciences of his day.  He then set about to locate the soul within the body.  In his searchings he discovered God and was allowed to enter Heaven.  His name was Emanuel Swedenborg and he left behind many books to explain what he saw.
