Back in May 2001 Shane had the misfortune of smashing into the back of an unmarked Police car, but less than one hour later he didn't care as his new best friend Kerri called up asking if he wanted one of the VIP tickets she just won to LINKIN PARK!

So Shane and Kerri got to meet Chester and the boys during the Melbourne sound check and they were quite impresed with the graphic Shane drew of the band (see below)
