Logfile from Norcon

IgenW-LC> Banain walks out of the infirmary. IgenW-LC> Banain has arrived.

You carefully wing lower into the Bowl. You fly carefully towards the main entrance, then land. You head into the Igen Weyr Living Cavern.

Jalar sits at table, somewhat quietly strumming his gitar. He looks up and waves a hand to the tall young man.

Banain wandering out of the infirmary, pauses long enough to toss back a roll of bandages. He gives Jalar a wave and grin before heading his way, "Mind if I sit?"

Joshi comes in with a bucket, lugging it over to a corner and dropping it. It smells strongly of fish. She wrinkles her nose and heads for the inner caverns for a moment. She disappears for a little bit and then comes back and says, "PSST!! Banain!!!" She beckons the resident with her finger, the one on her good hand. "It's time!"

Jalar starts to offer a seat to Banain, but then quickly turns his head to Joshi, a quizzical look on his face, "Time?" He peers toward the bucket, then looks back at the rider.

Banain blinks, looking to Jalar and says, "Back in a sec!" With this he moves over to meet with Joshi, nose wrinkling at the buckey.

"Yeah I know it stink don't it?" Joshi doesn't look unhappy about that, in fact she has a giant grin. She nods her head. "He's in the baths, come on..we don't have much time." She heads into the inner caverns very quickly.

You stride through the passageway into the Inner Caverns. Banain strides in from the Living Caverns. You stroll down the Residents' Hall. Banain strolls in from the Inner Caverns. You step into the men's dorm. Banain steps in from the hallway.

IgenW-LC> Jalar looks rather perplexed, but gives a shrug and goes back to his gitar.

Banain follows in after Joshi, and looks around, eyeing the rider now.

Joshi surges into the male dorms, heedless of the fact this is forbidden ground for females. She's on a mission, heading directly for for Valaris's cot and his clothes press. She kneels down in front of it, opening it and beginning to toss clothes out and at Banain expecting him to catch them. "Take these. I'll go get the ones he has in the baths. Don't forget to grab the scissors, you'll find them in Auntie Netti's basket. We need them to cut the holes." She grins at Banain. "Did you get the rope like I asked?"

Pwert is laid back on his cot, idly flipping through a bound hide notebook. As Joshi and Banain enter, he lifts a brow, "Joshi?" he whispers incredeously, "Hey, what are you doing here?" He closes his book and slides to the floor. Glancing carefully, he looks around to see if anyone else is about - or awake in their cots. "Shards, hey, those aren't yours, you two." he says nervously, then it hits him: Valaris. "Is. . . Is this what you weere talking about, Joshi?" he whispers as he comes closer, "What're you doing?"

Banain catches the clothes and nods his head. "I've got the rope, don't worry." Turning to Pwert, he holds his finger up to his mouth. "Shhhh, can you watch the door Pwert? Make sure no one sneaks up on us?" He turns back to Joshi and blinks, "Where exactly is Aunt Netti's basket?"

Joshi isn't paying attention to anyone catching them. She's in too much of a hurry to get all the underwear, pants and shirts she can in one rush. "We have to hurry. I don't know how much time he spends in there!" She throws the last of the clothes at Banain and says, "By the hearth, right there in the basket.. use hers or anyone's really. Just start cutting holes okay? While I go sneak into the baths and get his clothes." She grins at Pwert and says, "Oh this is just the beginning." And tosses him a wink and a small blown kiss, "Don't tell anyone kay?" And she's heading out, for the baths no doubt to get the last of the villian's clothes.

"I know where they are," Pwert says quickly, "I can get them quick. Used to be an errand runner. Shards, I don't know what you're up to though. Where do you want them brought to?"

Banain grabbing up the clothes, turns to Pwert and raises his eyebrows with a pause. Nearly dropping the clothes he grabs a sheet off a nearby cot, throwing the clothes into it he makes bundle and looks over to Joshi and Pwert, waiting for them to decide where to next.

"To the living caverns. Give them to Banain," Joshi says to Pwert. "HURRY!" There's no mistaking the urgency in her voice, "Both of you to the caverns." She herself has already gone off towards the bathing caverns.

Banain hefting the bag, nods to Pwert. "Meet you there."

Pwert looks at Banain drolly for a moment, and then is off as fast as any errand runner.

Pwert heads out into the hallway. Banain heads out into the hallway.

The steamy bathing caverns. Nice -- Joshi slips in, keeping close to the shadows. She pauses for a moment to examine where Valaris is, where his clothes are and how fast can she grab them without him noticing?

IgenW-LC> Banain rushing to one of the tables, chucks the sheet now made bag onto it. Quickly unfolding the corners, pants, shirts and various other items of clothing, clearly belong to a man, spill out onto the table. Anyone who was sitting there gives the rushed young man a look before moving somewhere else. "You got them scissors Pwert?" He asks of the younger boy turning to him.

IgenW-LC> DeeGee swoops into the room from the inner caverns.

IgenW-LC> Jalar looks over at the duo and then the batch of clothes. He swings his gitar aside for a moment and turns his attention to the activity, saying nothing at the moment.

IgenW-LC> Pwert runs into the Living Cavern, skidding to a stop as he near the hearth. He looks curiously over at the old Aunti sitting near the hearth. Sleeping, as usually. He goes up to her carefully, and pretends to shift he shawl to look more comfortable. Then, as he seems to finish to his satisfaction, he steps back and bends down. Checking her afghan maybe? Or did his hand just go into her basket. . . So much for stealth, he grimaces, carrying the scissors in his hand, "Yes, Banain," he grimaces, "I got the sharddings scissor." Hold them by blades, he races back to Banain, He looks ignificantly at Banain, and hwispers, "Try and make it sound legitimate. . ." Louder, he says, "You know, we could've just used mine, but I guess we're in a hurry. Gotta mend these." he says with a grunt to nearest people, and, from his pocket, brings out a small packet of various size needles - some obviously for leath. He offers one to Banain, "Pretend," he whispers, and passes over some thread, "till she gets back."

Valaris is sitting in one of the pools, he's submerged in the water up to his neck and his head is leaned back against the edge of the pool. He appears to just be soaking right now and not paying any real attention to the cavern around him.,

IgenW-LC> Jalar smiles just a touch, then swings his gitar back into his lap. He sips from his mug of redfruit juice, peers at the mug's contents for a second before setting the mug back on the table. He again strums the gitar, then sets to tuning the instrument quietly.

IgenW-LC> DeeGee chitters mischievously as he dives into the living cavern. He flits right over head of Banain, looking for all the world as if he is part of the proceedings.

IgenW-LC> Banain taking a needle gives it a curious look. "Alright," Lowering his voice so that the people around can't hear he mutters, "If you want to help, we need at least one hole in each item." Slumping heavily into a chair, he smiles to Jalar and waves. He takes the scissors and makes a large slice, in a pair of pants, quickly looking up he makes sure no one saw that. Then starts to "sew" at it with the needle. All the while, he takes discreet clips at that clothes in front of him.

Striding in, Joshi heads over to the shelves of towels and the benches. She doesn't look at the pools as she walks over to the shelf and picks up a towel. She grabs it and turns, but the whole stack falls off the shelf into a little pile on the benches. She curses and turns to right them and put them back on the shelf, fussing this and that. Once she gets them on the shelf, she picks up her towel bundle and casts a big smile to the occupants of the baths and leaves. Funny -- some clothes are missing though it's not apparent yet.

You head out into the hallway. You step out into the Inner Caverns. You amble out into the Weyr's Living Caverns.

Pwert leans overs and whispers to Banain very queitly, "You pretend to cut 'em, then pass them to me. I'll fake the sewing. I don't know what shapes you need cut." With that, he straightens up, grabs the piece Banain finished, and begins sewinng it with an unknotted thread, "Shards, Banain, let me do the sewing!" he remarks, as if genuinesly disgusted, "You really don't seam straight."

Joshi comes rushing out of the inner caverns, barreling almost. She has a towel covered bundle under her arm. She heads directly for Banain and Pwert. She flings the bundle down on the table, the towel rolling open to reveal clothing that hasn't been washed yet. "Here!" She says. She sits down and pulls her bucket closer. "Where's the rope?" she whispers across to Banain. "Where's the first shirt?"

Jalar finishes his tuning then sets into strumming an old Pernese tune. The music is quiet at first, but he slowly increases the volume. At the beginning, the sound is only loud enough that what can be heard at the table with Banain and Pwert is a sound that something is being played. Slowly, though, those with some sense of pitch can make out the tune, a familiar tune. After playing through the tune twice, Jalar begins to add in the lyrics. The song sings of the duty of all Pernese to each other. How total trust is required in order to defeat the common enemy: Thread.

Banain lets out a dramatic sigh. "It's -not- my fault I don't know how to sew good!" When Joshi arrives he listens, then scurries off over to the Hearth, moving a basket to reveal the rope. Grabbing it into his hands, he turns his head and peers over to Jalar, momentary worry crossing his face. With a shake of his head he moves back to Joshi handing her the rope and then pushing the first shirt towards her.

"J'lar, play something else," Joshi calls out, "I heard that song plenty of times during weyrlinghood and when I was little!" She takes the shirt and dips it into the bucket at her feet. She wrings it out and makes a face at it. Then she finds the hole that was cut into it, pushing the rope through the hole. And that's how they spend their time - the three of them. One cuts, one pretends to sew, and the final one dunks the clothes and puts them on the rope.

DeeGee zeros in on a nice freshly cut hole in a shirt and swoops down to fly through it. Oops, did his talon /accidentally/ snag the edge and make the opening ragged and almost impossible to mend? Say it isn't so.

Banain grabbing at a pair of pants, cuts large holes on both knees before handing it off to Pwert. He looks up to watch Deegee and just shakes his head. Everyone's in on it. Next come some more shirts, snip, snip. Hand over to the kid again. Pants..etc.. the cycle goes on.

Pwert peers curiously at Jalar, and rolls his eyes at Banain, "Shards man, you're very indiscreet, we should hav ejust done this. . .. this mending in one of the work rooms." he shakes his head, "No one likes to have their garments laid out on a table like this . . . Well, maybe some of the riders but..." he looks confused for a moment and shakes his head. "Nah. ah well, We'll be done in ajiff anyways, I trust." He bend industustrily to sew faster.

Joshi gets some of the underwear and takes great delight in dipping it into the bucket. "He is going to RUE the day he challenged me," Joshi promises with a snicker. "Pwert," She rolls her eyes, "I swear, you'd think you'd never been caught before." She strings up the swimming trunks next.

Pwert shrugs slowly, "Ah, maybe when I was younger. But if you're smart about it, you don't get caught without your mending kit. It's not much fun being caught without your mending kit," he says slyly, still pretending to sew, "Because bad things happen when you are."

Banain blinks. Get caught. Oh yea. He seems to have forgotten that that's the most likely outcome of this. Shrugging a bit he comments to Pwert, "I never said I was discreet." The grin tugs at his lips though, as he pushes more stuff at Pwert. "Ah.. what do I do with these?" He asks, eyes glancing towards the bits and pieces of clothing cut-outs.

Jalar looks over at Joshi, "Oh, sorry. I was just practiving it for Turn Over Day. Shards, can you believe that it's less than a seven-day away?" He looks over at Banain, "Do you make Resolutions for Turn Over? Anything you would like to pledge to do next year?" His gitar music has stopped.

"Throw them in the fire," Joshi says, "Less evidence." She glances at Jalar and says loudly, "Really? I guess I had forgotten ... probably would forget the interval was coming if Livia didn't remind me of it constantly." She soaks a sash and then adds it to the growing pile of clothes being added to a rope.

Pwert barely slows from his sewing as he mentions his resolution, "My pledge to myself is /not/ to believe everything I hear about who likes whom, and not to worry about it," he sighs, "And to remember to make my cot everyday." he blinks, and leans in towards Joshi, his fingers not stopping, "Cloths much easier," he murmurs to himself, "Does Livia know about this?"

DeeGee takes one of the pieces of cloth that Banain clipped, flying high into the rafters with it, then heads down for another.

"Course not, I'm not stupid enough to tell everyone and their mother about this," Joshi mutters across to Pwert. She jerks some pants onto the rope and a very nice looking tunic - probably a gather tunic. She makes a face, "The fish smell though.. gah I'm going to gag." She coughs, choking on the smell. She's the one messing with the bucket.

Banain being the good little, er, tall, lackey that he is, throws the bits and pieces of clothes into the fire. "Huh. I don't know, I haven't really that about Turn Over." Pulling his mouth to one side, he gets back to his job. "I'm not sure, got any ideas?" He asks of the harper.

Jalar nods and strums his gitar again quietly, "I making a resolution to be a better friend to others. It's easy to get busy with duties and forget how important other people are." He plays a few beats of a jaunty little tune and looks up at Banain, "But, maybe I'm the only one who needs to work on such things."

Pwert shakes his head, looking almost sad, "Waste of good clothing, " he sighs, "But I guess this is to prove a point. Right?" he looks at Joshi for reassurance, "Mayhaps," he shoots in Jalar's direction, "But, well, urm, so ummm," he stumbles for a moment, "Sometimes these things bring friends closer. And sure, people are important; that's why we gotta show 'em we care." Right, that's it, they're showing they care: Pwert beams contendly.

Banain finishing up with the clothing, having heard Jalar he doesn't look so happy with this anymore. The boy looks over to Jalar. "Eh." Is his only response, before turning to Pwert and muttering. "It'll bring him closer to strangling me.."

Joshi strings the last of the clothes, making sure to soak them all in fish oil. "Okay my resolution will to be nicer to certain people only AFTER I've paid them back in revenge for what they done to me first." And that's her take on it. She picks up the rope in her already fish smelling hands and says, "Banain grab the other end. We gotta string this up." She grins, "Pwert put those scissors back and take the bucket outside and dump it in the garbage heap if you would please?"

Jalar goes back to playing a quieter tune, "I need to remember that life is like an orchestra. We all have to play our part in concert with each other. Once in a while an individual gets to stand out, but for the most part, we have to meld our tunes together in good harmony." At that he strikes a rather disharmonious chord on the gitar, "Or else the music sounds terrible."

Pwert nods, replaces the scissors carefully, "To the midden heap it goes." He grabs the bucket and holds it at full arm's length to his side as he goes to leave the cavern, he nods, smiling at Jalar, "Of course. And the three of us are making beautiful music this evening, singing together in our harmony." With that, he runs off into the bowl. Pwert walks out to the Bowl.

Banain listens to Jalar, because he's got the gitar and it has managed to clue him into place for a bit, however since Joshi is holding a long length of rope he's going to have to listen to her. "Okay," He says grabbing the rope and moves back a few paces. "Where?"

Joshi looks around. "Balcony," she states, pointing at the railing. She grins and begins to walk up, expecting Banain to follow her. "We'll tie the ends around the railing and leave them out for everyone to see." She chuckles.

Jalar stands from the seat and tucks his gitar under one arm. He starts toward the lower carverns, walking with a slight limp. He passes the bucket and wrinkles his nose at the smell. He peers at the others briefly, "Well, I've some messages to send back to the Hall and I'd best get them written. Good night, all."

Banain taking one hand to rub at his head, follows after her. Casting a look behind him at the scence of the crime. "Alright, I'm coming." Pausing to blink he mutters. "I wonder how he's going to make it out of the bathes... Good night Jalar."

Pwert comes in from the Bowl.

Pwert runs back in, the bucket obviously discarded. He grimaces at the lingering smell of fish oils, and watches as the two head for the balcony. He chuckles, "Oh, ho, up there?"

Jalar strides through the passageway into the Inner Caverns.

Joshi reaches the upstairs part of the balcony. "Geez I feel like I'm seventeen again and playing pranks on candidates." She murmurs. She ties her end to the railing and says, "hurry Banain!" She lets it loose so that the clothes can hang there on the rope. Unfortunately the weight of the oil is pulling them all towards the middle in a soggy mess instead of having them flap out as she imagined.

Banain making it into position, ties the rope. "Uh. I think we're going to need to tie it a bit tighter then that." He says, holding the rope in place with one hand and looking over to Joshi.

Pwert runs up the steps to the balcony, "Here," he brings out a ball of the thick leather cord often used for putting thicker pieces together, "I'll sew around so it stays up... to reinforce the knot." He sighs, "I don't want this to fall on anyone and them to get hurt."

"Uh.." JOshi shakes her head, "We have to stretch it out farther or something. The clothes are too heavy." She unties her end and walks all the way to the end of the balcony and ties her there again. "Tie yours to the end of the stairs and the railing," she suggests.. "Or do you think that'd be too far? They'll slide down won't they?"

Banain taps at his face lightly, now eyeing the railing. "Uh, not if we knot it really good. I think." He looks over to Pwert now and gives the boy a nod. "Good idea." What a way to get hurt, having clothes soaked in fish oil land on your head. Taking his end, he moves further down and ties it into place again. He watches the clothes closely for any sign of sagging.

Pwert quickly moves in to where Banains got his knots, tying - and pushing one of his longe thicker needles through, right through the rope. Standing back in satisfaction, he goes to Joshi, "Let me do yours, too. I'd hate all this go to naught."

"Okay," Joshi nods. She heads back down the stairs to go look at it from the caverns point of view. "Yes, yes, that will do it." Joshi nods. "Keep it right there." She grins. "You know he likes to cut holes in clothes so he should appreciate this." Joshi takes a sniff at herself and says, "I'm gonna go wash up. You guys better too or else he'll know it was you."

Pwert nods appreciatively as he finishes stitching it up, "Good idea. I suggest the lakes, as he may find himself trapped in the bathing rooms. After all, he was in a hold the last year, may was he not?" He chuckles softly, "Best to avoid there. C'mon, Banain, let's go get this smell off." With that, he takes off down the steps and outside.

Banain nods his head, watching the clothes. "Yea. You're right. Alright to the lake." Hopping down the stairs, he follows on after Pwert.

"I agree." Joshi heads out towards the bowl and the lakes.

You walk out into the Bowl. Pwert walks out from the Weyr's Living Cavern. Banain walks out from the Weyr's Living Cavern.

You head into the Igen Weyr Living Cavern.

Joshi comes back in, the sleeves of her shirt slightly damp from washing off her hands and forearms in the lake. She has a white cloth in one hand, snagging a drink with the other hand. When she sits down, she works at putting her arm back into the sling the healers had given her. Even if it is a ruse. After all, how could a person in a sling, possibly do what Joshi had done?

Valaris ambles out from the inner caverns.

Joshi is sitting at a table in the corner near the entrance where the cool air blows in. The stench of fish is starting to grow in the living caverns. She's sipping on a mug of drink.

Valaris steps up just enough so that he can see inside the living cavern from the inner caverns below. Since he can't see everything, he steps in just enough so that he can. He has a towel wrapped around his waist and that appears to be the only thing that he's wearing. It doesn't take long for the stench to reach his nose. He furrows it, looking around for the source of the stench since he obviously didn't see who he was looking for.

Joshi has her arm in a sling, apparently still under orders by the healers for dislocation of her shoulder when she pulled it out of the socket drunk. She looks up though, scanning around the cavern until she spies someone lurking at the inner cavern door. It's hard not to laugh - especially when one knows the situation. The smirk on her lips is rather telling. As is the sparkle of mischief in her eyes.

Valaris' gaze is drawn to the laughs. He stands there for a moment until he asks. "Have you seen Natasya this evening? It seems that I need to get into the stores." His eyes start wandering again since that stench is really distracting. It's then that he spots his clothes tied along the balcony. He blinks, just staring at them before he moves up the steps to take a closer look.

"Not this evening, no," Joshi says. She coughs and takes a drink to cover herself. Everyone else is snickering though, having seen Valaris and then of course his look up to the balcony and his clothes. "Something wrong Valaris?" Joshi asks, one brow raising even though her lips are quirking up into laughing smiles.

Valaris has knelt down to look at his clothing. First, they stink...then he notices the holes cut into them and a few with jagged rips. "THEY'RE ALL RUINED! Everything I own," he says with both a mix of anger and sadness in his voice. "Who would do such a thing?"

Joshi gets a nice view, in fact they all do when Valaris kneels down at the balcony. She doesn't answer his question, he's probably not expecting an answer. Instead she takes a drink of her mug, enjoying the reaction. "Isn't it terrible when someone does that to you?" she calls up, unable to keep her mouth shut.

Valaris is at the stairs untying on end of the rope that the clothes are hanging on. He moves to start untying the others. No use in unstringing them from the rope since they've all got holes cut into them. He remains on the balcony, looking down into the cavern. "You did it, didn't you? Because I bothered a few of your garments."

Joshi looks up at Valaris and puts a hand to her chest, her right hand. "Me? Do you think /I/ could do something like that with the use of only ONE hand?" She questions pointing at her sling.

Valaris just continues to frown at Joshi as he carries the clothes that are still strung across the rope down into the cavern. "Well, you're probably right. Whoever did it wasn't smart enough to *not* put them into the living cavern and stink up all the inner caverns and stuff. I just can't believe they did it to *everything* that I own." He seems to be carrying the mess towards the bowl.

"Yeah it's annoying how that happens." Joshi says, tilting her head to the side and narrowing her eyes on Valaris in his towel carrying his fishy clothes. "So what are you going to do?"

Valaris shrugs his shoulders as he continues carrying the load of smelliness. "Only this," he says when the gets to where the greenrider is sitting. He gives the clothes a little heave in the direction of the greenrider and her lap.

Joshi shrieks as the fish oil clothes are thrown at her. /BOTH/ hands raise to smack the clothes away before they can hit her. Okay, so the greenrider was found out. After all, how could she move her arm so quickly if it was still in the sling - which it's fallen out of with the movement. "Valaris!" She yells standing up and turning her chair over.

Valaris is standing there with his hands on his hips now, watching. "Your shoulder seems to be fine. Funny that, after you were bawling and I carried you into the infirmary after you were left in the bowl." He turns his back on the greenrider and starts towards the inner caverns.

"Oh yeah? Well you deserve this!" Joshi shouts, her voice ringing around. She winces and then heads on the heels of Valaris stating, "You did this to my clothes, you also seem to have an appreciation for cutting up the stores clothes, like that robe and dress, plus you keep messing with the relationships of other people." She finishes part of her tirade only say, "Probably good that you're going back to the Sailing craft so soon, after all you keep pushing away ALL your friends here at Igen and you'll have none left."

Valaris is wearing a frown on his face when he turns in Joshi's direction. "The Seacraft! How many times have I corrected you in that." Then it hits him. "Cutting holes? I never cut holes in anything. Well, I cut a square out of a hem of my candidates robe. Something that can be easily hidden. The same with that dress that I wore once. It's not like it messed them up or anything...and relationships? What are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about poor Pwert and Elaia," Joshi says, "You messed with both MY Weyrling and MY FLOUR GIRL," She sets her mouth in a very angry line, her jaw locked firmly -- oh yeah..she's mad. "Rosmyn and B'rel... Pwert and Elaia, Banain," She would slap him if she could, but she actually manages to keep her physical violence down for once. "You messed with all of them...and now you're spreading lies too!" She snorts, "I never cry, and I certainly wouldn't cry in front of you!"

Valaris gives his head a firm shake. "I *am not* lying. You were crying when I carried you in to see Sellan in the infirmary. We can go ask him if you'd like?" He should probably get some clothes first. "As for everything else? I don't know what you're talking about. All I know is that Banain said Elaia was chasing him around trying to kiss him. Then Pwert was chasing her...As for Rosi and B'rel," he just shrugs. "I don't know what the two of you did when I left his weyr. I only know that he asked you to stay the night with him and you wouldn't let me take you home, so don't yell at me."

"Why would I let you take me home?" Joshi lets out a derisive laugh. "Of course I'd stay with B'rel. Nobody's allowed in my weyr unless I say so and you are definitely NOT invited!" She crosses her arms. "I don't care what you say, I won't believe that I was crying," She was too drunk to remember half that stuff. "And you told Pwert that Elaia and Banain were together when you know it's not true. Banain doesn't even like the flour girl." She lets out a sigh of exasperation, "Why are you messing with people like that Valaris? It isn't funny and it ain't nice!"

Valaris asks in return. "Why are you messing with me?"

"Because you messed with the wrong person," Joshi says, "You messed with me. Livia was wrong you know," She narrows her eyes. "I'm not nice, I'm not soft and I definitely know how to get revenge when I've been crossed." She lets it all sink in and says, "So now you know, and if you ever pull stunts like that again I'll be happy to have Wilanth take your bare ass to Red Butte to leave you there under the hot sun to fry."

Valaris just stands there looking at the greenrider. It looks as though he's torn between really something harsh in return or trying the deck her. In the end, he says lightly, "Revenge, huh?" And the he just steps forward, reaching for the greenrider. He leans in and plants a slow, deep, forcefull kiss on the greenrider's lips.

Shock value alone is what keeps Valaris alive those first few moments when Joshi is grabbed. Hazel eyes widen in astonishment, her arms coming up to push him away, ripping her lips away from his. "What the...?" She takes her forearm, dragging it across her mouth, wiping the kiss away. "Oh you are dead." He's got about three seconds to run away before she launches herself at him.

Valaris turns and heads towards the inner caverns without saying a word. He's said everything that he's wanted to say. Valaris strides through the passageway into the Inner Caverns.

Joshi is not finished, after all she's got claws, evidenced by the way her fingers are curled. She heads after ready to cut up a certain sea crafter. You stride through the passageway into the Inner Caverns.

"I'm not finished with you!" Joshi says following Valaris.

Valaris either doesn't hear the greenrider or is pointedly ignoring her as he's headed for the stores to find something to wear.

Valaris walks into the storage rooms. You walk into the storage room.

"Hey! HEY!" Joshi doesn't like to be ignored and so she does what any sensibly physically violent person does. She attacks, swinging a punch at Valaris to get his attention.

Valaris was indeed ignoring the greenrider so it's easy enough for her to hit him. He spins around, looking at her. "What, Joshi? Haven't you done enough already?"

"No!" Joshi says defiantly. "Someone's gotta teach you a lesson and I suppose it's gotta be me as no one else is willing to take you on." She curls her fists. "So come on... have at it.. wuss."

Valaris reaches up to try and face palm the greenrider. "I don't want to fight you, Joshi. I just want to get some clothes to wear to bed and to work tomorrow."

Joshi smacks the hand away and demands, "Valaris why'd you do that? Why'd you kiss me ya varmint?!"

Valaris continues to eye the greenrider for a moment, namely her fists. "Because I wanted to," he says before turning to see if he can figure out where the guy clothing is kept.

"Are you plain stupid?" Joshi asks. "Why'd you want to go do something like that? Only lovers kiss and we ain't lovers!"

Valaris continues his looking through the stores. After a moment with no luck, he turns and repeats himself. "Because I wanted to. What's wrong with that? Why are you so mad? Is it because you liked it?"

Joshi turns red at that question, "NO!" She declares. "I hated it." She spats on the ground. "Worst kiss ever given and the only way you can get girls to kiss you any is to force it on them ain't it?" She scrubs her mouth. "Just you stay away from me Valaris... I oughta kill ya but there's too many witnesses."

Valaris looks around the stores for the said witnesses. "I don't seen anyone else but us. Besides, I'd be more than happy to try it without the surprise." He watches the greenrider for a moment and crosses his arms across his chest. "You're really telling me to stay away from you after I helped you the other evening?"

"You? Helped me? How?" Joshi ignores the offer, narrowing her eyes at Valaris. "You haven't helped anyone but yourself lately."

Valaris says lightly. "The other night when I carried you to the infirmary." He turns to fully face the greenrider now and even takes a couple of steps in her direction. "However, if you really do want me to stay away from you, I will." He starts to lean in close to the greenrider as though he might be trying to give her a hug, but is he really reaching for one of those boxes behind her?

"HEY!" Joshi raises up her hands, ready to shove him off. "Leave off." She frowns and then relaxes a bit when he reaches over her. "What exactly happened?" She asks, "At the Lava Lounge?"

Valaris remains close to the greenrider for a moment as he fumbles around with a box. He doesn't pull it down or anything, probably just trying to use the fact that she's a female and he's near naked to help him out somehow. He steps back before answering. "At the Lounge? Nothing really. D'som and I came to to check it out. Then he found some girl and left me there. That's when I joined you. You were already drinking and talked to me until you realized I was the one that messed up your clothes." He frowns now. "Then you attacked me and some winecrafter there. You choked me and flipped me over your back. WOuld you like me to show you?" He smiles a bit. "Then we left. We went to the beach and sat there talking for a little bit."

"Oh faranth, that was Aladrea. I met her a few days ago at Fort." Her head snaps up, "Show me what?" Joshi stares at Valaris, not completely trusting his story by the look in her hazel eyes.

Valaris says. "I could show you what you did to me. My back was sore the next day, you know." He sits down on one of the chests. "That's pretty much it. You wanted to leave in a hurry because of what I was talking about and you brought us to B'rel's ledge and left me there. I went inside and asked to help you back to your weyr but he'd invited you to stay and you accepted...so I asked him to get a weyrling to take me down to the ground."

"I did all that?" Joshi asks. "How come I don't remember?" She raises her hand to her eyes and rubs them tiredly. "I'm never drinking that much ever again." She sighs. "Well thanks for filling that part in. I never did know how come I was up on B'rel's ledge." She crosses her arms in front of her. "On account of you telling me this, I won't kill you tonight.. least not yet anyways."

Valaris continues his story. "Then you came into the living cavern later with your arm dislocated. B'rel and Rosmyn left you in the bowl and I carried you to the infirmary for Sellan to tend to you. Beyond that, you told me a secret and that you loved runners and waited to breed them."

"That ain't much of a secret, I got better ones," Joshi says, "But I'm not gonna tell those to ya." She sighs. "Look, sorry about your clothes and all, we'll be square if you promise never to do nothing like that to me ever again." She holds out her hand. "Deal?"

Valaris pushes himself off the chest and steps over to the greenrider again. "How about this one?" He tries to lean way over so that he's really close to the greenrider and can whisper in her ear. "That you're in love with Livia. Is that why you hate me?"

Joshi stills. She listens to what he says and then says, "You're off your trump." She pushes him away, even more angry than before. "I offered ya a truce... and you spout stuff about me and Livia... where do you get off?" Joshi frowns. "If you tell anyone I said that then I will hate you." She promises. So she may be saying she doesn't hate him.

Valaris protests. "But you told me that, honest." He folds his arms across his chest for a moment before asking. "I'll take you're deal if you answer two questions."

"What?" Joshi asks, crossing her arms. Apparently that offer flew out the window a while ago for her.

Valaris says. "First, was that kiss really so bad?" He knows she said it was the worst one ever before. "And if not, do you think you'd ever want to try it again?" He gives a little grin. Pushing his luck, isn't he?

"No and yes..." Joshi says. Then she gasps, "Wait I mean Yes and NO." She waves her hand. "That's totally irrelevant!" She sticks her tongue out at him. "Good night!" She stalks out of the store room, flustered.

Sometime MUCH LATER that night:

Lava Lounge The chill in the air is a pleasant change from the heat of the tropical winds that surround Southern Boll. This cave holds the natively christened Lava Lounge of Southern Boll Hold. The bar, along the far light of the glow baskets hanging from the ceilings. Marcus, the barkeep, is ready to serve you 'drinks'. The largest 'wall' is sanded down for visitors to write on. In addition, there are tables and chairs located throughout the room for people to sit in as well as hanging sky chairs for people to relax in after the day's duties are completed. Type '+lhelp' for local help. Contents: Marcus Obvious exits: Crude Ladder Wilanth> Hicerth backwings to a landing. Wilanth> Hicerth has arrived.

Wilanth> Livia swings her legs over Hicerth's shoulders, sliding down onto a helpful foreleg before making the rest of the descent to the ground.

Livia climbs up from the caves below. Livia has arrived.

Wilanth> Wilanth is laying on the beach in the dark. Her devilish eyes are the only thing that can be seen of her in the sand, the lights of Boll reflected in them. She sends a croon to Hicerth.

Wilanth> Hicerth settles himself down with a wary sort of glance around as his rider abandons him. He does croon in return to Wilanth - a warm sort of tone which seems to put his wariness to rest.

Joshi is sitting at the bar with a glass of milk. She's only got that from the looks of it. She's got her cheek propped up in one hand, staring off into space.

Livia strolls across the room as if she owned the place, nodding to people as she passes them (even though they obviously have no idea who she is). She was heading for a seat, but when she spots the greenrider, she changes her course to the stool next to hers. She comments loudly to Marcus, "Ale. And make it the good stuff, eh?" Then to the greenrider, as her gaze shifts over to her, "Fancy meeting you here...Do you come here often?"

Wilanth> The night is clear, not a cloud to be seen, giving you a perfect view of the stars. The smaller Belior is shining brightly as a full moon while Timor sleeps in darkness. There seems to be a light breeze coming from the east-northeast and the summer air is is warm with a touch of humidity.

IGEN-> Livia absently reads logs of the time Liv and Learan had a few too many and she asked him to be her weyrmate. Still brings tears to my eyes. Tears of laughter, that is. ;)

"No," Joshi looks over at Livia, never removing her hand from her cheek. "I came here in hopes to get my memory back." She nods down the bar where someone has a green colored drink. "After three greenriders the other night, I completely forgot everything that happened. Apparently I fought someone, befriended someone, flirted with someone, broke something and cried all in one night."

Livia's brows go upwards as she gives a knowing ahhhh. She nods her thanks to the barkeep, drawing her mug of ale towards her. Not that she takes a drink. She just holds it. "Sounds like a good night to me."

"You'd think except I managed to dislocate my arm for my trouble," Joshi looks at Livia, "All of that and all I can think is you were working during all of it and I hadn't seen you in a really long time." She picks her milk up and takes a swallow, "And I'll likely get in trouble after tonight so you won't see me for much longer."

Livia's brows furrow slightly and she offers, "Well. I'm here now, aren't I? Want some help sorting things out? I'm happy to sit here with you until you can remember things. I know what its like." She glances the greenrider over and wonders, "Dislocated your arm? Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm okay," Joshi says. "They had to pop it back into the socket and I had to wear a sling for a while." She glances around. "Well.." She spills the whole story to Livia, how someone put fish oil in her clothes, how she discovered it was Valaris, and how she got him back earlier that evening by putting his clothes in fish oil, cutting holes in them and stringing them across the caverns. "I got the ideas from Rosmyn and Brees because Rosmyn talked about how Valaris cut holes in his candidate robe and Brees strung those underwear all over the cavern almost fifteen turns ago." Joshi runs her fingers through her hair. "And then that son of a wherry kissed me."

Livia blinks twice in rapid succession at the end of the story. Finally, she lifts her mug and takes a good swallow. She mumbles, "Shells. Get busy for a few days and you miss out on everything." She sets the mug down and wonders, "And how did that make you feel?"

"I was mad," Joshi says. She cradles her head in her hands. "He seems nice sometimes but then I hear a bunch of stories about him...plus he knows I love-" she shuts up, "Well he knows I don't really care for him as much as I do ...someone else." She finishes lamely. "But he did it anyways! Because he wanted to.." she states.

Livia leans her own elbow on the bar and her head onto her fist, "Did you sock him? I'd have at least roughed him up a little bit. People can't always go around taking what they want. It doesn't work that way."

"Yeah I punched him," Joshi nods. "I wasn't going to stand for it." She looks around, "Marcus did I really pounce on a girl?" Marcus nods and points to the stool Livia's on. "Right there." Joshi snorts and shakes her head, "I feel so bad for Aladrea.. She was a nice girl though.. very friendly to me after that." She chuckles.

Livia's brow goes upwards and she huhs, having another little sip of her ale, "Sounds like a wild night. I'm awfully sorry I missed it. If nothing else, I would have probably gotten turns of blackmail out of it."

"Oh no you don't," Joshi glances over at Livia and grins. "There's no way I'm letting you black mail me.. you'd probably have me cooking you meals or something equally feminine." She chuckles.

Livia shakes her head, "Ah, no, I'll leave it to the boys to make those sorts of demands on you. Wearing dresses and things of that sort. I might make you clean my weyr though." Her perfect, immaculate, untouched weyr.

"I don't think your weyr really needs cleaning," Joshi says, "If anything it needs living in. Livia I'd swear you never slept there if I looked in it." She peers at the brownrider, turning her body towards Livia receptively. "So how's your sevenday going?"

Livia lifts a shoulder, "I try to make efficient use of the space." She sips from her mug, "Better than yours, apparently, even if I've been just buried in this and that. I'm trying to pick a Wingsecond so I have less to do, but nobody is really fitting the demand." She glances around, wrinkling her nose, "I don't want to talk about it, though. I'd rather hear more about your wild night."

"Well that's just it," Joshi says, "It was wild and I don't remember most of it. I remember Marcus telling me that three greenriders is two too many, a tunnelsnake drink that Aladrea says I tossed back," Joshi shudders, "But I remember when I tasted it - it was nasty!" She looks around. "And apparently I got into a brawl but I don't even remember THAT."

Livia wonders, "Who did you brawl with? And did you wake up with someone you didn't know? And who is this Aladrea again?" She's certainly full of curious questions.

"Of all people, Valaris.." Joshi sighs. "He told me so today." She shakes her head, " I woke up in the infirmary with my arm in a sling. Apparently when I got back to Igen, I fell off Wilanth, landed on my arm and jolted it out of the socket. Sellan the healer, reset it back in there for me." She takes a drink of her milk. "And Aladrea is a winecraft apprentice. She's really cute and a little young, but she actually flirted with me at Fort a few days ago."

Livia ohs, her expression twisting oddly for a moment as she has another sip from her mug, "Well. Never hurts to have good relations with a winecrafter. And you woke up with Valaris, or you brawled with him?"

"Bite your TONGUE Livia!" Joshi says, "Brawled with him, never to wake up with him." She shudders. "I can only see him ruddy well undermining me and impressing some brown or blue and trying to catch Wilanth over my dead body!" She makes a face. "But let's not talk about that." She watches as some people pick up stencils and scribe on the wall. "Now what are they doing?"

Livia frowns slightly at that, but allows herself to be distracted as she glance towards the wall, "Hmm? Oh..sometimes people write on the walls. Leave their mark, you know."

"Oh," Joshi looks interested, "Have you ever written on it?" She questions of Livia.

Livia shakes her head, "I'm not exactly the most creative person in the world. I don't have a very good way with words, even if I am writing them instead of saying them."

"Yeah I don't like it either. Some people are gifted with poetry." Joshi steps off her bar stool and walks over, looking at the different scribbles. She grins, "Come check out this poem." She points at one labeled, "Ode to S'rist."

Livia gets up from her stool and takes her mug with her. She stares at the wall for a long moment, then chuckles. "Shells. That's what happens when you become famous..people write little ditties about you on walls so everybody can have a good laugh at you."

"Maybe someone will write something about you one of these days when you become Weyrsecond," Joshi teases laughing. She moves along the wall, reading aloud some of the limericks and laughing. "Shells these are ones I gotta tell someone." She grins.

Livia wrinkles her nose and shakes her head witha laugh, "Weyrsecond is Terrilia and A'zric's job. Let them tend to it. I'll tend to Mistral. I wouldn't be surprised if someone wrote one about you and Wilanth, though. The most fearsome greenriding duo of Igen."

Joshi laughs and shakes her head, "I doubt it. What would they say except that we're mean and violent.." Joshi looks away a moment. "Do you think Wilanth's a bad influence on me?" She questions, "I've had people tell me I only got worse since I was taken by her." She is still, "You don't think that's true Liv do you?"

Livia shakes her head sternly, "Absolutely not. She may be a challenge, but she's a part of you, and you're a great person regardless of whatever influence she has on you. Don't listen to a word anyone says about it. They just don't understand what it's like."

"Yeah but, maybe I do give in. I didn't always used to be this way. Now I feel like I get angry whenever anyone just looks at me the wrong way," Joshi sighs. "Maybe that should be my turnover resolution.. don't get angry all the time."

Livia lifts a shoulder, "I like you when you're angry. You can be as angry as you like. But, if you don't want to be angry, then sure, you ought to work on it."

"You like me?" Joshi stares at Livia as if she's grown two heads or something, "Can I ask why you like it when I'm angry?"

Livia glances back at the wall, taking a sip from her mug as she looks slightly uncomfortable. "Isn't that the mark of a good friend? Liking someone, even when they aren't at their best?"

"Actually there's some that would say that's the mark of a lover," Joshi says. She suddenly coughs and says, "But yeah.. you are a good friend Livia, you're my best girl." She grins and gives a playful chuck at Livia.

Livia smirks as she lifts a hand to rub her shoulder, "That's me...Good ol' Liv." She takes another drink from her mug, her gaze returning to the wall. Her eyes scan it over idly until she reaches a spot which makes her spew ale in a startled mist. Wiping her mouth quickly on the back of her hand, she points, "Is that my name? On that wall?"

Joshi blinks in surprise when Livia spews her ale. "Where?" She leans forward to try and get a look, leaning ever oh so not subtle across the brownrider to try and see what she's pointing at.

Livia points with her mug at the wall. It says, Livy love, I love you. But once the initial shock is worn off, she is quick to add, "Probably not. Probably some other Livy."

Joshi's mouth falls open. She makes an unintelligent sound. Oh yeah, she recognizes the handwriting very well. She draws back, not quite meeting Livia in the eye. "Probably.." She flashes a look to Marcus who is snickering behind the bar.

Livia steps back a step from the wall, as if dismissing this as the explination. "Funny, though." She grins and takes a sip of her ale, "Besides, nobody would refer to me as Livy in writing. Unless it was my father. And I don't think my father has ever been here."

"I think the writing is rather new as well," Joshi's voice sounds strangled as she says this. She gives a glance at what it said and what was written directly underneath it. In the same handwriting. "The person must love someone an awful lot." Her voice is almost forlorn. "Too bad for them."

Livia's gaze drops to the next markings on the wall and she hums softly. "Valaris...Curious." She takes another drink of her ale and moves back to sit in a chair at an empty table.

Sitting opposite of Livia, Joshi folds her fingers together in her lap. "Yeah, isn't that funny." She isn't looking at Livia, not able to meet her eyes. "People do some stupid things when they're drunk..don't you know?"

Livia sets her mug down, commenting casually, "Was he drunk too, then?"

"I don't know," Joshi shrugs, "Maybe," She looks uncertain. "At this point I don't know what to believe." She props her elbows on the table and leans her chin into her fists. "I just know... I'm tired, exhausted." She sighs, "Tired of worrying what I did, tired of lying, tired of being angry.."

Livia tips down the corners of her mouth slightly, "I'm sorry...I'm sorry that you have been. Don't worry anymore then. And I'll try my best to make you laugh so you won't be angry. And things are always easier when you're honest." She picks up her mug and sips with a little sigh, "Sorry. I'm not trying to preach."

"No," JOshi shoves her fingers up through her hair, running her fingers through it. "You're not preaching Livia." She stares down at the table, "My turnover resolution. I will not get angry. I will tell the truth and I will stop fighting." She makes the vow. "Starting with you." She stares at Livia, suddenly very intent.

Livia sets her mug down yet again with a light thump, brows going upward and assures, "You don't fight with me. Just that one time really, but that was completely called for."

"No," Joshi shakes her head, "Livia, don't..." She pleads reaching a hand out across the table, palm up for Livia to put her hand into hers. "Please..don't." She suddenly looks very vulnerable. "Just listen to me, please?"

Livia hestires, her brows drawing together instead. But she reaches a hand to cover the greenriders, nodding her head as she replies in a quiet tone, "Alright. I'm listening."

"There comes a time," Joshi begins and then stops. "No, that sounds so formal," she argues with herself. "Livia, I'm just gonna come out and say it." She squeezes the brownrider's hand, using her other hand to cover and capture Livia's hand. "Livia, ...Livy..luv," She sounds almost exactly like the wall as she stares at Livia, looking her over from her stubble of blond hair, to her figure and back up until she can meet her bright clear blue eyes. Joshi's own hazel eyes are full of emotions. "Livy, I can't deny this anymore. I can't keep it inside..." her voice trails off.

Livia has her own full scale of emotions going, not just the hesitance and uneasiness. She tries to be quiet, but she can't keep in the cautious, "Joshi..." that comes out of her mouth.

"No," Joshi holds up her hand, stopping Livia from speaking. "I know you don't feel the same. I know you never can. Otherwise the looks you give me when you think I'm not looking would be given to me when you know I am." Her hazel eyes are starting to tear up almost. "But I can't deny my own feelings and I won't expect a big show from you..." her voice trails off again and she says, "But Livia, damn it, I love you...and.." She takes a deep breath. "And I don't think I'll ever stop."

Livia pulls her free hand up to pinch the bridge of her nose, rubbing the corners of her eyes. Yet, she makes not effort to pull her hand back as she takes a deep breath. She takes a long moment after the confession before she says anything, although her fingers stay in her eyes. "Joshi, you can't..I mean...We're friends. I like that we're friends. I don't want you to resent me..."

"I don't resent you," Joshi says tilting her head. "And I know you like that we're friends," she states, "But it hurts me Livia because I want something I can't have." She glances over at the wall. "I don't remember that, but I do know that's my handwriting there, and they say in wine there is truth." She looks back at Livia and releases her hand stating, "I just had to tell you, because I refuse to lie about it anymore."

Livia pulls her hand away from her eyes, which are kind of red, and places both hands down on the table top in front of her. Her damp set of fingers start drumming on the table. "We all want what we can't have. It's in our nature I think. I don't want to hurt you. That's why I..." She frowns and picks up her mug, finishing it off. "That's why I didn't talk about it."

"Not everyone is like that," Joshi says, "Only you and I, and perhaps another one who deserves our pity." She glances at the wall again. Then back at Livia. "Why? Can I even ask that? You're denying yourself Livia..." she pauses, "I don't even know why."

"And if you even think of saying I'm like a little sister, I swear Livia, for all our friendship I will never speak to you again," Joshi vows.

Livia was starting to formulate a reply, but then she frowns sharply, "Who have you been talking to? Nidria?"

"It doesn't matter who I've been talking to," Joshi states plainly. "This is about you, how you look at me, how you flirt with me, how I know you want me as much as I want you...but something is holding you back." She cocks her head, "I want to know what."

Livia seems to want to talk more about who Joshi's been talking to, but she allows herself to be lead in another direction. She actually looks a little bit guilty. "Something is always holding me back. It wouldn't be fair to you. You're right..I do want you..but I can't. We can't. It's just not...People would get hurt. Its better for me to just stick to myself."

"What people?" Joshi slams her hand down on the table, her right hand since she favors her left shoulder still. Anger appears on her face, unhappiness and sorrow mixed in. "What people?" She asks. "I don't see anyone being hurt by you and I. But you see someone being hurt..." Her voice raises a few decibels as she demands, "WHO? Junni? Learan? Chayil? Sarai?" She looks hurt, her hazel eyes bright with unshed tears. "Learan's married and he's. MALE! Chayil? She can't even make up her mind what she wants! Sarai? Good luck with her! She's harder than stone!" Joshi's hurting and she's lashing out.. so much for not being angry.

Livia grimaces a touch, and where the greenrider gets louder, she gets quieter. Her hand, though, does reach half way across the table, where it just rests. "Joshi...Joshi, I don't want to hurt you. I don't want to hurt anyone, but that's all I seem to do. You weren't there when I broke Nidria's heart, you didn't see the look on her face. I don't want you to look at me like that." Her brows furrow again as her eyes keep growing redder with her held back emotions. "Please don't look at me like that."

"I wouldn't look at you like that," Joshi says, "Nidria told you you said she was like a little sister.." She never takes her eyes off Livia, reaching out to try and capture her hand again. "But Nidria isn't nearly where I am with you." She leans across the table. "Livia, you and I have known each other for so long. We've got so much history. Nidria couldn't touch what you and I have.." her voice trails off, "And I can see it when you look at me.. you wouldn't tease me, flirt with me if you didn't want me." She tries to take Livia's hand to touch it to her cheek. "And you can have me.. all you have to do, is to ask."

Livia gives way to allowing her hand to cup the greenriders cheek, a light caress more than anything. "I never had feelings for her...not like how I feel about..." The words die there on her lips as she looks worried and guilty. Instead, she wonders quietly, "Why do you tempt me like that?"

Ignoring Livia's question, two can play that game, Joshi asks, "Not like how you feel about..... whom?" She's not giving up the issue, pressing it further. "Who Livy?" Use of pet nicknames can and will be used against those in love in bar rooms.

Livia draws her hand back, her teeth worrying at her lower lip. After a slight pause, she murmurs, "If I say it, it becomes real and I can't take it back. You shouldn't even have to ask."

"I don't want you to take it back." Joshi says, "I want you to say it, because I am asking," Her eyes are pleading for just that small admission. "Please Livia... don't deny yourself. Don't lie to me." She swallows, the importance of the moment carrying such a heavy tension.

Livia rubs at her eyes again, undoubtably cursing her own obvious emotions. She murmurs, "Like how I feel about you. I care too much about you."

"You love me," Joshi says never tearing her eyes away from the brownrider. "Even if you won't say it." She draws back in her chair and says, "Thank you Livia." She stands up. "But.." She circles the small gap between her and Livia and leans down to whisper in her ear. "Don't deny yourself. I'll be waiting in my weyr tonight for you." The decision for Livia to join her, is up the brownrider from the implication. She straightens up. "Have a good drink, Livy." She leans down once more and gives the brownrider a softly pressed kiss to the cheek. It's the most she'll do at the moment. She turns, flips a wooden mark to Marcus and leaves the bar.

You climb down the crude ladder. You step out into the jungle heat. You wander down the trail a ways and step out onto the beach.

Joshi steps out from the jungles, removing a few clinging vines. She ventures over to Wilanth and leaps up into the neckstraps. Before buckling up, Joshi looks over and says, "Hicerth, bring her safely home to me tonight." She almost sounds.. confident that she'll be chosen.
