    Fan Mail Tips

  • Most Actors/Actresses recieve hundreds of fan mail daily, so keeping your letter short, sweet and to the point would be nice for them.
  • And because most Actors/Actresses read most of their fan mail it would kind of you to write clearly and/or type the letter, 12 font preferably and double spaced.
  • Adressing the Actor/Actress in which you are writing to in a proper form such as Mr. Mrs. or Miss.
  • Complimenting the Actor/Actress at the beginning of your letter and then stating the reason for the letter.
  • Be unique and creative by making your letter stand out with color, vibrant paper. Preferably something that is not an eye sore like neon green gel pen on white paper.
  • Like most humans, Actors/Actresses prefer politness to rudeness.
  • Paitence is a virtue, which you must possess when writing to a Actor/Actress. For they get hundreds of letters daily and can not reply to everyone all at once. So a waiting period is usually 2 weeks to several months for a reply.
  • DO NOT send food, money, or gifts. Large packages to not usually make it to the Actor/Actress in which you are sending it to and may not even be opened so it's completely pointless.
  • Be honest in your letter, and please try to be mature, no matter the age they're just like you are and prefer some respect.
  • Gimmicks and Guilt trips will most likely not end you up with a response.
  • Date your letter and place your adress at the top or bottom of your letter so that they may be able to send you a response.
