Miscellaneous Promos
These are some of the American promo cards I've come across the way.
They don't really belong in any set so I decided to just put them all together.

I got this demo-pack from the Pokmon TCG Tour back when Pokmon was first released.
Wizards gave them to people who lined up to "learn" the game from the Pokmon trainers.
There are 54 cards in a pack and an instruction book on how to play. I would say it's a miniature version of the Starter Deck.
This Pikachu card was from the E3 convention in California.
Another way a person could get this card was to subscribe to Nintendo Power.
However, the ones that came in Nintendo Power were not sealed.
The E3 Pikachu card has a E3gold stamp on the right side.
I'm not sure whether to classify this a promo or an ultra-rare.
Wizards said they mistakenly inserted these 1st edition Pikachu promos in a few 1st edition Jungle booster packs.
I'm not sure this was planned to hype up Jungle's release, but I've never heard of another way this card can be obtained. Hmmmmm.....
These Pikachu promos are now given away at all Pokmon Leagues but they are not 1st edition promos.
This Mewtwo card is made from Topps and was given out to anyone who rented the Pokmon Movie at Blockbuster Video.
This Mewtwo promo card was inserted in Nintendo Power magazines.
However, they were only given to people who had subscriptions to Nintendo Power.
I don't have a membership, but do you think if I back-order that issue from a friend's membership,
I would get another one?
Hmmmm......
This Venusaur promo card was inserted in a magazine for the Gameboy Pokmon Trading Card game.
The Japanese version of this card was inserted in Best of Pikachu soundtrack. The picture of Venusaur is the same
but the moves are different.
This Meowth promo card was inserted in special Fruit Roll Up boxes.
This card is the same exact card found in the packs (picture and attack) except that this promo card has a gold border.
This Meowth promo card was inserted in the Gameboy Pokmon Trading Card Game.
A different promo card was inserted in the Japanese version of the game.
If you bought the Japanese version, you would get the Dragonite holo-foil promo card.
This ______'s Pikachu promo card was given out by Wizards in a Birthday Pikachu contest. People just had to print out the entry form from the website
and send it in through snail mail. A few weeks later,
the card came in a brown padded envelope and a little note.
This Dark Arbok promo card was released only in some countries (Phillipines, Singapore, China, etc.)
This was to celebrate the Year of the Snake.
If you look closely, you should see the "W" stamp on the lower-right hand corner.
