Pedro Alonzo Lopez is know as the "Monster of The Andes" his number of victims goes way up into the 300's.
A native Colombian his prostitute mother kicked him out at the age of 8 years old, for touching his younger sister. In the streets of Colombia as a child he was picked up by a petophile and sodomized. Then at age 18 in prison he was raped by a group of his fellow inmates, he found his vengence and murdered three of his attackers. Once released from prison he began to kill young girls.
By 1978 he had killed about 100 girls in Peru and Ecuador. Lopes primarily killed young prostitutes and averaged 3 kills a week. When arrested authorities doubted his confession, but were soon believers when 50 graves were produced. |
