Peter Kurten
Born in Koln-Mulheim Germany in 1883, as a child kurten sustained abuse in the hands of his alcoholic father. At a young age he enjoyed mutilating animals and also enjoyed playing with fire.

At the age of 9 Kurten began his terror when he drowned two boys. Then in his teenanage years he attmpted to drown a girlfriend in the woods. At age sixteen he was arrested and jailed for arson and theft. Once released in his early thirties he began committing robberies. During one of his robberies he killed a ten year old girl while she slept by strangulation and slit her throat. In 1922 Kurten was married soon after in February of the same year he stabbed an eight year old  girl thirteen times drenched her in kerosene and set her ablaze.

Peter Kurten enjoyed cutting open his victims' throats and catching the blood with his mouth. Therefor he was called the "Vampire of Dusseldorf".

In his last attack Kurten released his victim and was later arrested when she told police about the incident. After a year of psychiatrists he was found to be sane, he was convicted of nine murders and sentenced to death by gullotine. Peter Kurten was executed on July 2 1931, in Cologn Germany, with a smile.
