John Wayne Gacy
Known as "The Clown Killer" John Wayne Gacy killed 33 boys between the years of 1972 and 1978 in Illinois.
Gacy was known as a good man and a family man. He would dress up as a clown for birthday parties and at hospitals to entertain children. As a child Gacy was mentally abused by his father, Was embarrassed and recieved years of verbal abuse.

As a serial killer Gacy usually had all aspects of the murder planned out. Sometimes he would pose as a police officer to lure young victims to his home. Other times he would invite young men over to his home where he would beat them, rape them, offer them food, quote verses of the bible then strangle them. Sometimes he would show the boys his trick handcuffs then convince them to try them on, then he would switch them with real ones and attack them once they put the handcuffs on. After it was all done he would bury their bodies underneath the crawl space of his home.

In 1978 when a young boy by the name of Robert Priest did not return home, his mother told police that he was to be working for John Wayne Gacy. When police visited the home to investigate they found 30 bodies buried beneath his home. On March 13 1980 Gacy was sentenced to life in prison, later it was changed to death. After midnight on May 10 1994 John Wayne Gacy was executed in Joilet, Illinois.
