MUCC was formed on 4 July, 1997, consists of Tatsurou (Vocal), Miya (Guitar), Yukke (Bass) and Satochi (Drum)...the music they played is punk rock....they from Ibrarki, Japan....and that time they were all still only 18! Before Yukke join the band in early 1999, Hiro, the ex-member left the band.
In December 1999, they released their first mini - album, Antiku. Their first single was released later in 2000, Syouhu/hai.
They released their first album, Tsuuzetsu, in January 2001. On that same year in June, they released 2nd pressing title Tsuuzetsu ~ inshou chigai ~. The songs were reanimated.
At the end of the year, they released their 3rd album Aishuu.
In 2001, MUCC left their recording label & began to do all their releases on their own label.
WHAT DO I THINK OF THEM....
I thought punk songs were another headache songs with all the shouting and screaming going on and I cannot even heard what they are singing about....But MUCC is different then what I expected.... their music and songs were versatile....althougth they are punk rock, they intended to explore different side and get fresh idea for the music.... Tatsurou is a versatile sort of person who can blend in to any type of song they played. With his unique voice, surely difficult for him to make a mistake. Miya and Yukke, my favourite....I cant really ranked them as both of them really play well with their string instrument...and last but not least is Satochi...the enegetic drummer that difficult for me to compare to all others drummer out there....COOL percussion. ^_^ |
