Empirical Values = truth + knowledge + sight

What we see is what we know -> therefore the expression "I see...." would consequently mean "I know...". What follows is that we see with our minds, not our eyes. Seeing, in fact, has an interpretative function. Facts are pure visible and available. Which presents an opportunity to learn and see things differently, in a different light.

We depend on products to solve problems, not cause them. We have a subconscious trust for products to do what we want them to do.

However, we:

• Have to see and understand things relationally
  

  We have not learned to make connections between things
  See that things travel in time, are not discrete objects.

• Have to learn to distrust our senses
• Learn more about the invisible impact of technological products
  

  We are addicted to electromagnetic radiation waves.

• Investigate ecological concerns

• Move beyond just engaging with things for the function and their commodity
• If good design is invisible, it also needs to be ethical
