Channel Rules and Regulations |

|
|
|
One of the first things that seems to come to mind when seeing "Rules and Regulations" in reference to a channel is, "Oh great. It's going to be nothing but strict, with rules always being shoved in our faces. We probably won't be allowed to do anything or have any fun.." I assure you, that's not the case with our channel. Everyone's viewpoints are welcome here. We only ask that you are respectful of others. Now, with that said, let's address the rules. |

I. SOPs/AOPs |
|
|
|
SOPs/AOPs are appointed by the founder and co-founder of #Serenitys_Fire. The decisions are based on observations of their previous experiences as operators of other channels, not based on any favoritism. No begging for ops will be allowed in channel. Begging for ops will result in a kick from channel for 30 minutes. The ops we appoint are chosen for a reason. They are chosen for their fairness and reliability, and they govern the channel while the founder and co-founder are not available. |

|
II. Fighting and Arguing |
|
|
|
|
There will be no fighting or arguing allowed in the channel. If you feel the need to fight and/or argue with someone, take it out of channel. There will be 3 warnings given, after which, if the fighting and/or arguing continues, each person involved in it will be kicked from the channel and banned for 30 minutes. Once allowed back into the channel, if it continues to be a problem, there will be a ban issued for no less than 24 hours, no longer than 72 hours, to each of those involved. If after the ban is lifted, the conduct continues in the same manner, with frequent fighting and/or arguing, they will be permanently banned from #Serenitys_Fire. We can't afford to be lenient on this rule. This will be a place of peace. Each violation of this rule will be addressed by both the founder and co-founder and decisions are final. |

III. Energy Manipulation in Channel |
|
|
Energy manipulation, applies to psionic sparing/fighting, energy healing, psionic feeding (psivamping), and psionic sex. Any psionic work, take it to #psionic. |

|
|
|
|
|
A. Psionic Sparing/Fighting |
|
|
|
|
Psionic sparing/fighting will not be allowed in channel. If you must spar, take it to PM. Any violation of this rule will begin with 3 warnings to cease the action, after which if the warnings go ignored, will result in a ban for 3 days. If after the ban is lifted the violation continues, a permanent ban will be issued. The ONLY instance where psionic sparing/fighting will allowed in channel, is when the channel has specifically been closed for it, or when it is used as an example during a topic night on a subject relating to it, used as a form of instruction. On those topic nights, it will be up to the discretion of the founder or co-founder. If they aren't present, then it will be left up to the discretion of the ops present. |

B. Energy Healing |
|
|
|
There will most likely be times in channel when someone will ask someone in PM to heal them psionically. We ask that you please leave channel while the healing is going on, both the one healing and the one being healed. The reason we ask this, is because energy healing is a delicate enough procedure, without having to worry about if it's affecting those in channel. So many things can go wrong, and possibly hurt those in channel. Please, take it out of channel. You're welcome to return to channel once it's over. |

C. Psionic Feeding (Psivamping) |
|
|
|
Psionic feeding (psivamping) will not be allowed in channel. Forcefully and purposefully feeding on someone, without their permission, will result in a kick from channel. If the feeding continues, it will result in a ban from channel for no less than 2 days, no longer than 4 days. If the violation of this rule continues after the ban has been lifted, it will result in a permanent ban. If you are going to feed consciously on someone, with their permission, please do so in PM. Subconscious feeding happens sometimes. If you're found to be subconsciously feeding on someone, you will be asked to cease feeding. If you are unable to control it at the time, please leave the channel until you can, or the founder and/or ops will try to assist you in doing so. |

D. Psionic Sex |
|
|
|
|
|
Psionic Sex is not permitted in the channel. If you feel the need to express your sexual frustration, take it to PM. Anyone attempting to have psionic sex in the channel itself, will be kicked and banned for 24 hours. If violation of this rule happens again, it will result in a permanent ban. There are no exceptions to this rule. We understand people have their needs, but, the channel is no place for it. And besides, it's something that's a private matter. So, respect others in the channel, and take it to a PM somewhere. |
