Well, let me start with Friday!
I got there
at 7pm that night, after
being in the
mountains.
So I did not
have time to make
a costume,
so I threw on some black cloths
and ears and
a tail and went as a black cat.
But I still
got a lot of pictures.
(Which will
be coming soon)
I met up with
Miyu and Michelle
and the others
(forgive me,
but I horrible with names)
and we went
off to the dealers/activities rooms.
We then proceeded
to combat each other
with "klingon"
weapons.
What a blast!!
Friday night
there was not a whole lot
going on,
just a lot of fanboys chasing us,
thinking that
we were
"Josie and
the Pussycats".
But Saturday
was when we had all the fun!!!
Saturday morning,
I finished my
Sailor Pluto
costume.
I grabbed
my ChibiChild in her
Eternal Sailor
Moon costume
and got there
about noon.
Miyu was in
her Kawaii
Manga Sailor
Mars costume
and we took
off!
We had our
pictures taken so many times!
We met a lot
of great people
and did a
little shopping.
But by 5pm
my little sweetie was tired,
so I took
her home.
By then it
was getting to be time for the
costume/cosplay
contest!
So as I was
driving back to the con, I came up with
a great idea
for us to do a skit!
Check out
the script from out skit here
SAILOR
SENSHI TACHI
Well, it must
have been good,
a little leg
helped,
And we won
1st Place!!!!
Miyu got to
keep the trophy, to award
to her mother,
for making her such
an awesome
costume!
But I will
have pics of us with the trophy
soon to add
to the site!
After the contest,
we headed
to the bar to celebrate!
Then off to
the dance!
We put on
my Renaissance gowns to dance in.
But after
a while, it was too hot, so I
put on Sailor
Pluto again.
Well, Saturday
was such a blast!!
But we paid
for it on Sunday.
Sunday we really
did not stay long
we were all
really tired
so I do not
have much to report here.
Looking forward to next year though!
Go visit the StarFest / StarCon website!
And check out
the pictures!
