Naru asks Usagi what has occured with Higure Akiyama, the home economics teacher. However, Usagi is non-responsive because she is drowsy as a result of the chocolate pafe she ate. Umino pops up and says that Akiyama is different because she is engaged to be married. There is a brief flashback of the proposal to Akiyama followed by Usagi thinking about her future marriage. The scene shifts to a fabric store where Haruna (main teacher for Usagi-tachi) meets Akiyama. They talk for a bit about searching for the perfect dress. Before parting, Haruna comments that she wants to find a suitable husband and the wedding. Nearby, Nephrite 'surprisingly' chooses Akiyama as his next target. Usagi comes across a poster advertising a "home made wedding dress contest" and is very impressed by the first prize of a grand wedding reception. Rei also comes across the poster and asks whether the reception can be deferred and is told yes. Both daydream of winning the reception. In her attempts to win the contest, Rei plots. Thinking that because Ikuko (Usagi's mother) is a housewife and thus will be skilled in sewing, Rei follows Usagi home and flatters Ikuko. Rei asks to learn how to sew from Ikuko which leads to some surprise on Ikuko's part because she cannot sew. Luna is moderately disgusted at the priorites that Usagi and Rei hold (rather than training against the Dark Kingdom). Usagi tries to get Ami's assistance for the contest but is essentially rebuffed (Ami discusses theory rather than actual practical work). In the fabric store, people are all fighting over various bolts of fabric. Suddenly, one beautiful bolt happens to fall in front of Akiyama. A disgused Nephrite, from behind her, tells Akiyama that the fabric, which he has corrupted, is perfect for her. Still trying valiently, Usagi decides to ask Naru whether she would be willing to help Usagi in the contest. Naru declines and comments negatively on Usagi having slept throughout home economics and her short attention span. Usagi then decides to go to Akiyama's house to get some lessons on sewing. While there, Naru and Usagi see Akiyama's fiancee and Usagi is not very impressed. Akiyama's fiancee inquires on Akiyama's condition because she has not answered the phone, etc. Akiyama treats her fiancee very negatively and tells him not to return to her house until the wedding dress contest if he still wants to be married. Usagi and Naru are suprised by Akiyama's condition and Usagi is shocked that Akiyama is entering the contest. Luna, who has tagged along like most times, feels a demonic presence in Akiyama. At the Hino temple, Luna explains her suspecions to Ami only to be interrupted by Rei attempting to 'borrow' the temple's only rental wedding robe only to be caught by her grandfather. Rei's grandfather propositions Ami, like he is normally want to do while Ami declines. Usagi tries to steal Ikuko's lace but is caught in the act. Ikuko permits Usagi to have the lace but removes Usagi's allowance for three months. At the contest, Usagi is standing as a bystander because she was unable to get a dress made; however, Usagi did try hard as seen through the punctures in her fingertips. Usagi enters the contest using her disguise pen and still wants to win; Luna forbids Usagi from actually competing. Usagi looks for Akiyama but cannot find her. Eventually, the hostess, who is Akiyama, comes out and hypnotises the audience. Nephrite brings out the youma Widow who attacks the senshi who have by this time already transformed. Following the standard battle, the youma is defeated. After recovering from the influence of the youma, the reception continues. Following some comments from the women on the wedding, Ami comments that the person that catches the bride's bouquet will be married next. Rei, Usagi and Haruna fight over the bouquet which finally ends up in Ami's possession.
Usagi, Naru and Ami (less so) are admiring the work of Kijin Shibakawa, a junior high student who won a national photography award. Usagi and Naru head to see Kijin and ask Ami if she wants to come. Ami declines prefering to study. Usagi and Naru attempt to get Kijin's photograph but are stopped by Rei, whose school is close to Kijin's. Some time later, Nephrite saves Kijin from falling when he is taking a photograph of a cliff. At this time, Nephrite corrupts Kijin's camera with the force of the Dark Kingdom. This change leads to Kijin wanting to take photographs of girls. While Luna is trying to give Usagi her new communicator, Usagi is distracted by an advertisement that she found; Kijin Shinokawa looking for models. With the new communicator, Usagi calls Ami and then Rei telling both about the contest. Luna, Ami and Rei are all disgusted at Usagi's use of the communicator. Shingo then comes by and criticises Usagi's intelligence and says that models need to be smart [ ^_- ]. Trying for pity, Usagi pleads to her mother but is disappointed when her mother agrees with Shingo. In an attempt to cheer herself up, Usagi goes to the arcade where she receives support from Motoki. Unfortunately, Mamoru is much less supportive to Usagi's chagrin. A short time later, Shingo confronts Usagi who is waiting for the mail to see if she has made it through the first selection. To Shingo's surprise, she does. This 'success' leads Usagi to practice being a model to Luna's amusement. Unfortunately for Usagi, her bathing suit has moth holes in it probably due to lack of use. At the second selection, Usagi is bewildered at the number of people around. Soon, Usagi meets Naru and Haruna who are both competing as well. Usagi explains the situation about her bathing suit and is comforted by Naru. LUna informs Usagi that all of the girls that Kijin photographed have disappeared. It takes a theft of one of Usagi's ribbons in order to prevent Usagi from being photographed. Usagi then finally realises the danger of the situation. After being instructed by Luna, Usagi becomes Sailor Moon to defeat Cameran, who has taken Kijin's energy. After an intitial bit of confrontation, Ami and Rei arrive and attack respectively. Finally, Sailor Moon defeats the youma through her tiara. Following the loss to Sailor Moon, Zoisite and Nephrite discuss the results and essentially attack each other over respective failures. This is followed by an interview with Kijin where he states that a girl's true beauty lies in her heart; the Tsukinos = watching the television wish that Usagi could be just like that ideal girl.
At the beginning, Beryl is speaking to Nephrite and Zoisite about the Dark Kingdom's plans and failures. At the end, Nephrite refuses to accept Zoisite's aid and rather decides to go alone; Zoisite is pleased at Nephrite's loss of favour in Beryl's eyes. In the morning, Usagi hears her family discuss the fact that Shingo's friend, Mika has won a French doll contest. As a result of making fun of Shingo in regards to his relation with Mika, Usagi is late once again leading to another session of detention. During this detention, two of Shingo's classmates tell Usagi of Shingo's harsh treatment of Mika (including breaking the prize winning doll) earlier in the day due to the teasing of his classmates (shown in flashback). At Mika's house, Mika is concentrating on making a new doll with a very sad face. Mika's mother asks to see the prize winning doll, but Mika says that she lent it to someone. Usagi orders Shingo to go and speak to Mika and apologise for his actions. Shingo appears to be very negative to this idea and seems to grudgingly go. In reality, Shingo is very guilty over his actions. Approaching Mika's house, Shingo notices a red Ferrari in the driveway and decides to come back later. The visitor is actually Nephrite, in the guise of Masato Sanjoin who comes to ask Mika to create several dolls for sale. During this visit, Nephrite adds energy from the Dark Kingdom in order to possess Mika. Mika, due to the influence of the Dark Kingdom becomes very fixated on making dolls. Shingo saddened at Mika's change in attitude decides to make a Sailor Moon doll for Mika during which there is an ironic exchange between Usagi and Shingo. At the large doll show, Mamoru and Nephrite run into each other and have a short moment of dja vu but nothing comes of it. Usagi, Shingo and the girls meet Mika as she completes her last doll. At this point, Nephrite releases the youma; Shingo tries to protect Usagi but fails. Usagi transforms into Sailor Moon in order to defeat Jemoe, the youma of the day. Usagi appears to be losing until Ami and Rei step in to aid Usagi. After Ami determines the weakness of the left ankle, Usagi is able to defeat the youma. In the aftermath of the battle, Shingo and Mika are able to resolve their differences; it is sealed with Mika giving Shingo a Sailor Moon doll like the one (which was broken in the fight) that Shingo was going to give her. Shingo is "very" happy to Mika's disgust.
Nephrite looked into the stars and discovered Sailor Moon's weakness. It was Tuxedo Kamen. When Usagi came back from school and looked in the mail box, she found a letter from Tuxedo Kamen. Usagi was very surprised. When Usagi opened the letter, she found out that it said, "I love you more than anyone else. Please come to MS department store in Shinjuku tomorrow night." Usagi was very happy. But Luna was suspicious. She wondered how Tuxedo Kamen know that Usagi was Sailor Moon. Usagi said that Tuxedo Kamen's love for her figured out the secret. Then Luna said that although Tuxedo Kamen always helped Sailor Moon, they didn't know if he was an ally or an enemy. She told Usagi to be careful. But Usagi wasn't listening. The next day at school Usagi found out that all of the girls had received a love letter from Tuxedo Kamen. Usagi was very disappointed, but none of the girls knew who Tuxedo Kamen was. Naru thought that it would be great if the one who gave her the love letter was Sanjouin Masato. Then Haruna came in and said that everyone shouldn't be tricked by a prank love letter. She told everyone not to go to MS department store. But Haruna was really very upset that she didn't get one herself. At school Luna told Ami that she was very suspicious about the love letter. Ami said that she would discuss it with Rei. Motoki and Mamoru were at the game center. They were talking about the love letter incident. Mamoru thought that it was some advertisement stunt. Then a very disappointed Usagi walked in. Mamoru thought that Usagi was sad because she didn't receive a love letter. But Usagi yelled back, "I got one. What are you doing here." Motoki told Usagi that Mamoru went to the came college as him. Then Usagi cried out, "How could Tuxedo Kamen do that. Instead of just me, he gave love letters to everybody." Ami was at Rei's house. Rei was in bed because she caught a cold. Rei was disappointed because she could not go see Tuxedo Kamen. Ami said that she would take care of Rei. Sanjouin Masato was at MS department store. He was thinking that Sailor Moon would definitely come because she loved Tuxedo Kamen. Then Naru walked up to him. Naru introduced herself. Then she asked if Sanjouin was Tuxedo Kamen. Sanjouin was surprised. He wondered how Naru knew that he had sent the love letters. Sanjouin thought that Naru must be Sailor Moon. Then Sanjouin said, "Naru-chan, you're very cute. I'm glad that someone as cute as you remembered my name. See you tonight," and left. Naru was very happy and thought that Sanjouin was definitely the one who had sent her the love letter. Usagi was at home wondering why Tuxedo Kamen had sent the love letters to everybody. Usagi decided that she would ask Tuxedo Kamen in person. So Usagi got ready to go out to see him. Usagi picked out clean underwear, clean clothes, brushed her teeth, and put on lipstick. That night Naru went to the MS department store. It was closed, but suddenly the door opened. Naru went in and called out for Tuxedo Kamen and Sanjouin Masato. Then Tuxedo Kamen replied from the top of the escalators. Naru recognized the voice and said that it was Sanjouin. Sanjouin was surprised that Naru knew his identity from just his voice. So Sanjouin thought that Naru was Sailor Moon. Sanjouin went to Naru and told her to transform into Sailor Moon. Usagi was walking in Shinjuku when her communicator rang. Ami asked Usagi where she was, and Usagi told her. Rei got upset that Usagi was going to meet Tuxedo Kamen. Sanjouin was trying to get Naru to transform into Sailor Moon. But Naru didn't know what he was talking about. She just said that she liked him. Then Sanjouin pulled out Naru's enormous energy. Usagi arrived at MS department store. She saw Tuxedo Kamen with Naru. But Usagi knew right away that it wasn't the real Tuxedo Kamen. Then Usagi transformed into Sailor Moon. Meanwhile Mamoru was walking outside a bookstore. A sudden pain hit him, and he transformed into Tuxedo Kamen. Sanjouin figured out that Naru was not Sailor Moon. But he had gathered a lot of unexpected energy. Then Sailor Moon went to face Sanjouin. Sailor Moon called Sanjouin a youma. Sanjouin was surprised that Sailor Moon figured out that he wasn't the real Tuxedo Kamen. Then Sanjouin took off the Tuxedo Kamen costume. He introduced himself as Nephrite, one of the dark kingdom. Nephrite called out to the stars and created a lion youma. The lion attacked Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon tried to run away, but she fell down. Then a red rose came flying by and hit the lion. The real Tuxedo Kamen appeared. Tuxedo Kamen got in front of Sailor Moon and told her to escape. So Sailor Moon turned around and ran away. But Nephrite sent the lion after her. Sailor Moon used her moon tiara action and hit the lion. It stopped the lion momentarily. Sailor Moon was surprised that it didn't finish it off, like usual. Then Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen escaped into an elevator. But Nephrite laughed as it was his trap. The elevator was going to go to the top floor and then fall to the bottom. Instead of panicing Sailor Moon was thinking about getting a kiss from Tuxedo Kamen. Then Tuxedo Kamen told Sailor Moon that they had to escape. Tuxedo Kamen opened the little door at the top of the elevator and they climbed out. When the elevator reached the top floor Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Moon jumped to catch the ledge. But Sailor Moon slipped and Tuxedo Kamen caught her hand. The elevator crashed at the bottom and Nephrite thought that he had won.
Sailor Moon was hanging on, but she couldn't take it any more. Then
Tuxedo Kamen told her not to give up, and told her to think of something
to talk about.
Sailor Moon thought and said, "Why do you always help me?"
When Sailor Moon started panicing, Tuxedo Kamen told her to start talking again. Then Sailor Moon asked, "What's your hobby? What do you like to eat?" Sailor Moon quickly thought that she was stupid for asking such questions. Then just as Tuxedo Kamen's fingers slipped, the elevator door opened and Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars appeared to catch Tuxedo Kamen's arms. They pulled Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Moon up to safety. The Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Kamen went up to the roof. Luna scolded Sailor Moon for going off on her own. Sailor Mars yelled at Sailor Moon for going off and holding Tuxedo Kamen by herself. Sailor Mercury told Sailor Mars and Sailor Moon to stop fighting. She was carrying Naru on her back and she said that they had to hurry to the hospital. Then Tuxedo Kamen said, "Please be friends with each other," and left. Nephrite said, "I couldn't defeat Sailor Moon, but I got a lot of unexpected energy. Everyone has one time when they are very engrossedin something and they create a lot of energy. This girl Naru.. It seems she really fell in love with Sanjouin Masato. Foolish girl."
Usagi, Ami, and Rei went to the ocean. It was supposed to be for their sailor senshi training. But the girls just wanted to have fun. Rei had made a reservation at a seaside house with a private beach. Usagi was looking forward to the fun. She imagined that there would be lots of cool guys around her, including Tuxedo Kamen. Usagi couldn't wait to get to the house. They walked for a long time through the forest. Usagi got mad because Rei didn't confirm the directions earlier. Then it started to rain. Then Thunder. Usagi was afraid of thunder. Usagi started running, and screamed when she spotted a little girl in a hood. The little girl led the three girls to a very scary, old mansion on a cliff. It happened to be the "Pension Adams" where Rei had made the reservations. Usagi felt very scared. When they opened the door, three people greeted them. They looked like a Frankenstein, a Werewolf, and a scary woman. The little girl's name was Sakiko. Sakiko's father was a very tall, mean-looking man. He told Sakiko not to play around with the three girls. During dinner when the Frankenstein man came and asked if they wanted more food, Usagi became very scared. Then the Werewolf man came with desserts and Usagi screamed out again. Usagi asked Rei why she had made the reservation at this place. Rei said it was very cheap. Then Ami said that the food was delicious, and the costumes were very funny. Then a spirit/ghost appeared. The three helpers became very scared. They said it was the spirit of the house. Rei felt some strong power behind it, but didn't think it was a youma. The next day the three girls went to the beach. Usagi was very happy and wore a cute pink swimsuit. It was a private beach, as advertised. It was a little beach underneath the cliff. Usagi was getting sad because there was nobody else nearby. Ami had brought her school book and started studying. Usagi got mad at Ami and said that they had to play. Then Ami put the book down and they all played together. Ami and Rei both threw the ball and hit Usagi. That night everyone was scared again. Rei put her anti-ghost signs all over the place so they could eat in peace. Ami spotted Sakiko by herself outside on the cliff, and went to talk to her. Sakiko had watched the three girls playing during the day. Ami asked Sakiko if she was lonely. She said that Sakiko was very much like her old self. Ami said that Sakiko should become friends with Usagi to cheer her up. Then Sakiko's father came and said, "Leave, if you don't want to be scared again," to Ami. Sakiko's father dragged Sakiko back into the house. Back in the house, Sakiko's father used hypnosis to draw out Sakiko's power. Sakiko's father wanted to show the world that they had the power because they had been ridiculed in the past. Usagi was very scared and wondered around the house looking for her friends. Usagi then found the three house helpers, who were going through some spiritual ceremony. Usagi thought they were ghosts or something, but Rei came and said that they were regular people. Ami went into the room where Sakiko's father was trying to draw out Sakiko's power. The spirit came out and attacked Ami. Then the spirit attacked Sakiko's father, and sent him flying outside. Sakiko was still in her trance. Rei and Usagi saw the spirit too. Rei said that they had to transform to help Sakiko's father. "Moon prism power make up!" Sailor Mercury tried to wake up Sakiko. Sailor Moon tried to fight, but the spirit was too strong and blasted her. The spirit was still attacking Sakiko's father. Sakiko woke up, but the spirit didn't vanish. Sakiko went to her father. Sakiko's father said that the spirit was now uncontrollable and told Sakiko to escape. But Sakiko stayed by her father. The spirit came around to attack again. Then Sakiko turned around and blasted the spirit away. Sakiko's father said that he had used the guests for testing Sakiko's power. The next day Sakiko played with three girls on the beach. Sakiko was very happy and Sakiko's father just watched them. The three helpers came and asked Sakiko's father about the spirits. He said that there wouldn't be any more spirits.
