Easter Sunday
And very early in the morning, the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at
the rising of the sun.  And they said among themselves, who shall roll away the stone from
the door of the sepulchre?  And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away.
for it was very great.  And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the
right side, clothed in a long white garment, and they were frightened.  Ye seek Jesus of
Nazareth, which was crucified, HE IS RISEN, He is not here, behold the place where they
laid Him.  But go your way, tell the disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee -
there shall ye SEE HIM as He said unto you.  MARK 16 2-7
Jesus spoke to many after his resurrection, Mark 16.l5 -20
He said to them "go into all the world and preach the good news
to all creation.  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe, will be condemned.  And these
signs will accompany those who believe, In my name, they will drive out demons, they will speak in new tongues, they will pick up snakes with their hands, and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all, they wll place their hands on sick
people, and they will get well."  After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, HE WAS TAKEN UP INTO HEAVEN AND HE SAT AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD.
There is a beautiful hymn which expresses what I believe in my heart about Christ, it is called "HE LIVES"
I serve a risen savior, He's in the world today.  I know that He is living, whatever men may say.  I see His hand of mercy.  I hear his voice of cheer.  And just the time I need Him, He is always near.  He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today!  He walks with me and talks with me, along life's narrow way.  He lives, He lives, salvation to impart.  You ask me how I know He lives, HE LIVES WITHIN MY HEART. Matthew 28.7  Go quickly and tell his disciples, He is risen from the dead.  This hymn is written by Alfred H. Ackley.
