Christmas can be a time of great sorrow for many who have lost loved ones, are alone, depressed, hurting, I believe Jesus understands how you feel and cares for each of you.  God knows abandonment -
Matthew 26.56  But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.  Then all the disciples deserted him and fled.God knows homelessness - Matthew 8.20 - Jesus replied, Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.
Jesus ministry was focused on the hurting, the sick, the oppressed, etc.He does understand what you are going thru and He does care..
Again I would like to recommend a website which is a wonderful place to visit, Annie has a hugh site but I am going to give you the url here for her pages "How to Cope with Grief and the Holidays Page"  God Bless you all and have a
MERRY CHRISTMAS. Remember to e-mail me and I will get back to all of you..
That night, some shepherds were in the fields nearby watching their sheep.  An angel of the Lord stood before them.  The glory of the Lord was shining around them and suddenly they became very frightened.  The angel said to them, "don't be afraid because I am bringing you  good news. It will be a joy to all the people.  Today your SAVIOUR was born in Davids town.  He is CHRIST THE LORD.  This is how you will know him, you will find a baby wrapped in clothes and lying in a manger."  Luke 2 8-12
