They are the ones who I trust With us there is no shame They are like none other With them I am always home �What the hell�I know you only had 2 big boxes of stuff and shopping, but why does it feel like you have 200 all of a sudden?� �Hehe, I know what ya mean. Most of the time is spent on figuring out where to put everything. You know Lin if your tired I can finish up and you can go home, you�ve been helping me for a awhile, you should be tired by now.� �No please I insist on staying for as long as you need me. I don�t wish on going home anytime soon, so�I might never leave.� Linda said jokingly. �Ah, ooooook. Hmmm, I hope Alan�s job interview is going well. He was so nervous this morning I felt bad. Which reminds me�your interview is tomorrow and mine is on Friday. I�ve never had an interview.� �Well yea you have�our school social worker. Those can probably be the worst interviews in the world, I know you hated them.� �You telling me, all they would do is ask you the same stupid questions over and over again till they thought they knew what your problem was. It was pointless and so full of crap�they would always hate when I did not answer �they were so stupid. I�m so glad that I don�t have to deal with that anymore. Well enough of that, hey since you have your interview tomorrow I�m gonna go over Alan�s place and help him unpack. I know that if no one helps him he will never be motivated to unpack.� �Yea, he will live his life with everything in a box, hehe. So dude, what do you guys plan on doing after unpacking, I know that won�t take long.�, Linda asked curiously. �Hey why are you raising your eyebrows up and down like that, what are you up to?� �Oh nothing, I�m just curious what the 2 of you will be doing while I�m dying for my interview to be over. Doing anything fun?�, Linda said still raising her eyebrows. �I don�t know. I guess if he wants to do something afterwards then we will. What are you thinking about?� , Amanda said trying to figure out what Linda would say next. �Hmmm you don�t sound interested in hanging out with him, don�t you like your friend anymore?� �Of course I like him, you two are my best friends. I love hanging with you guys.� �Hmm, like him as in like or as in really like like. There is a big difference ya know�No seriously, have you ever had any other feelings for him?�, Linda asked. ��Well�before I ever really got to know him�I have to admit that I was very attracted to him. He seemed like a really nice guy and things got to be the way they are now, we are best friends. But I don�t think he was ever attractive to me in that way.�, Amanda replied a bit hesitantly. �So you do really like him, I had a feeling you did at first but then afterwards the relationship became�well more in a friendship way. But why do you think he�s not attracted you, you did end up becoming best friends, that does mean a lot.� �I guess�I don�t know. I just never thought that he would want to be more than friends with me so I gave up trying to become more than that after awhile.�, Amanda said feeling a bit sad. �Well you should have not given up, maybe�oh hold on my cell is ringing.� As Linda was talking on her cell, Amanda began to really think about her relationship with Alan and how it�s grown over the past few years but then started wishing the whole conversation never came up. After Linda returned from her call, she was upset that she had to leave to help her parents with something important. When Amanda was left alone in her apartment she for some reason could not stop thinking about Alan and struggled to think about something else till she fell asleep that night. The next day Amanda dropped by Alan�s apartment to help him unpack while Linda was at her job interview. It really only took about 3 hour s to set everything up in his apartment considering he did not have much stuff. Afterwards they decided to take a walk around their new neighborhood and then headed to a big beautiful park that was around the area and sat on a bench. Amanda suddenly had the feeling of complete peace and freedom, along with Alan�s arm wrapping around her shoulder. For a moment she felt kinda awkward, but then thought it was all kinda romantic. She was about to say something when all of a sudden her attention was taken by a girl with very long blonde hair wrapped up in two buns with ponytails, �What a funny hairstyle?� she thought to herself. The girl was with what looked like could be her boyfriend and was whinnying loudly at him as they sat on another bench holding each other in their arms. Amanda began laughing to herself at how this girl was acting and then seemed to draw her attention back to Alan, who was staring at the couple. He was imagining himself and Amanda acting the way the couple was but then started to think about how Amanda would react if he were to ever say how he really felt about her. �So, what ya thinking about?� Amanda said to break the silence. �Huh�oh uh�I don�t know. My mind is just wandering all over the place�Say uh, I�ve been meaning to uh ask you �did you uh I mean do you�� ��Did I do I what?� ��Do you feel�hungry?� �Do I feel hungry? Funny how that was a tough question to ask me, you know I�m always hungry.� �Uh ok, shall we.� As they were leaving the park to head to a restaurant, Alan was upset that he chickened out on what he was going to really ask her. But then was hoping that the arm around the shoulder trick would probably send her a clue, though it wasn�t much. He kept on thinking, �Maybe this isn�t the time yet to tell her, I will tell her when I�m ready, and hopefully she will be too.� Then in a blink of an eye it became very dark. The winds began blowing very fast, almost knocking them of their feet. Amanda and Alan stood there trying to hold one another from loosing balance in total confusion. What happened next did not even come close to what they thought would happen. A tall, figure was standing in front of them with a big grin on its face. The figure had very long black hair and seemed to be wearing what looked like a black cape around its body. The figure was glowing in the darkness that was surrounding them, and then all of a sudden it spoke. �Helpless creature you are now my dear, come forward and I just might let your friend live.� she said coldly after a small laugh. She spoke in a tone that sent chills up their spine and only made them more afraid of what she would say next. After what seemed like an eternity of silence, in a few seconds Alan gathered enough courage and replied. �What do you want from us?� �Ha, I don�t want you my dear.� she said and all of a sudden she aimed and shot a blast of energy from her hand knocking Alan unconscience about 20 feet from where he was standing. As Amanda tried to run to where Alan was the woman suddenly appeared right in front of her way. Stopping her in her tracks the woman grabbed Amanda by the neck and said slowly in her cold tone, �It�s you who I want�Well, maybe now I can finally see if you�re the one my master has been looking for so long.� Amanda began screaming like she never screamed before as an object instantly appeared in the woman�s hand. She became even louder as the object the woman held was glowing and her forehead slowly increased in pain. Then all of a sudden amongst the screaming, a voice was heard. �HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!� The darkness was gone and the pain ended. Amanda stopped screaming and opened her eyes to see the woman still standing there clenching her throat. But the woman was looking at something behind Amanda with frustration and said in a cold whisper �You�� �HOW DARE YOU COME HERE AND TERRORIZE A COUPLE�S DAY IN THE PARK, I WILL NOT ALLOW IT�I AM SAILOR MOON, THE CHAMPION OF JUSTICE AND IN THE NAME OF THE MOON�I�LL PUNISH YOU!� By this time, Amanda was released and fell to the ground feeling extremely weak but was also staring in amazement at her favorite hero. She could not believe Sailor Moon had actually come to save her, but then she remembered what happened to Alan and began crawling to him while the woman stood there facing Sailor Moon. Once Amanda got to Alan she suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder and quickly turned her head to see a man dressed in black with a white mask covering his eyes. �It�s ok, I�m with Sailor Moon�are you hurt?� Tuxedo Mask said softly. �No�I think I�m ok, but my friend is knocked out.�Amanda replied while cradling Alan in her arms. �He looks like he should be fine, but it seems like he really hit his head hard��he said but then stood up quickly to turn his attention to Sailor Moon and the woman who were conversing. Amanda also tried to listen to what they were talking about but they only were able to catch the last few words. �� will cease to exist.� At that the mysterious woman disappeared into thin air. Sailor Moon stood there for a moment looking shocked and then started walking towards the three. �I hope its not what I think it is Sailor Moon?� Tuxedo Mask asked. �Yes�I�m afraid the enemy has finally fouuu�oh are you and your friend ok?� Sailor Moon quickly stopped what she was about to say when she saw Amanda holding an unconscience Alan on the ground. Amanda had always wanted to meet Sailor Moon, but under better circumstances. Even after what happened, she felt happy to be there with Sailor Moon and actually being able to talk to her. �Uh, my head is really hurting me, but my friend�� at that moment Alan finally opened his eyes, looked around trying to take in his surroundings and then at Amanda. �What happened?� �It�s ok Alan, you were just knocked out�someone tried to attack us but thankfully Sailor Moon saved us.� �I don�t understand�why�what�who?� he said dazed but then realized and was surprised to see that Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask were kneeling on the ground in front of him looking concerned. �Oh�are you ok, did that person hurt you?� he asked hurriedly feeling guilty that he did not save her from what happened. �I�m fine really, I�m just glad nothing worst happened and that we�re both ok. Sailor Moon�Who was that? What did she want from us?� Amanda asked curiously. ��Well, I�m not sure if I should tell you everything but since you�re a victim I guess you�re entitled to know a little. Her name is Ebony, one of our enemies, and for the past month she has been sending her soldiers to look for someone. I guess she got tired of her soldiers failing so she has decided to do her own dirty work. Other than that, we are still trying to figure out her mission.� Sailor Moon replied looking a little worried and continued, �Well we better be on our way, gotta keep guard and all that�uh�good stuff, hehe. Do you two need any help with anything, getting home�that sorta thing.� �Oh�uh, I think we�ll be fine� Thank you Sailor Moon. I don�t know what would�ve happened if you didn�t show up.� Amanda said as they stood up along with Tuxedo Mask helping Alan onto his feet. �Oh, noooo problem. Triumph over evil is my middle name. So there is never a need to fear because Sailor Moon is always here�hehe I just thought that one up.� �I�m sure you did�Take care you two.� Tuxedo Mask replied looking strangely at Sailor Moon. �Oh yea, you two really take care of yourselves and maybe we�ll meet again someday�Bye bye.� Sailor Moon said as she walked away into the park with Tuxedo Mask. �Bye Sailor Moon and thanks again�wow what a night.� Amanda said as she helped Alan walk out of the park to finally go home. In the other side of the park Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask changed back as Serena and Darien and continued walking. �Well, what was all that since you�re a victim you�re entitled stuff about? We have never given anyone information about what is was ever going on. You were acting funny back there, what�s going on?� Darien asked. ��She said she found her Darien, its her, that girl is the one they�ve been looking for so many years. This is really bad if it�s true. I don�t know�something inside me told me to tell her. She will be attacked again and they will stop at nothing to finally take her and use her for their plans. � �Are you serious, that girl is the one�this calls for a scout meeting as soon as possible. Well�what else did Ebony say?� �She said that once The Phoenix is awakened�my future reign as queen�will cease to exist.� |
