Glance has a bit of a troublemaker temperment, she thinks she is the princess of the barn and likes to flaunt that. She can be a bit squealy and spoiled at times, but I think she will settle down when she is older. Hopefully. She has her sire's intelligence and love of opening doors, and getting herself into trouble. She refuses to be forced to do anything, you have to get her to do it on her own. However, she is very sweet with people and loves attention, she practically has a fit if you ignore her! She is so cute, though, that you can hardly resist petting her, even if she is a little pill.
On Her Pedigree
Glance has an outstanding pedigree. Her sire Elusive Storm is a very well known eventer, show jumper and dressage horse in Sim. He competes at the Grand Prix level in both show jumping and dressage and the CCI **** level in eventing. He has sired several other successful Sim horses, including Elusive Song. Through her sire's side, Glance receives the wonderful genes of STORM CAT, KEY TO THE MINT, DANZIG, SECRETARIAT and NEVER BEND.
Her dam, Angel Face, is an unshown broodmare that is a daughter of the famous sire DANZIG, granddaughter of NORTHERN DANCER. She is out of the Graded Stakes winning mare ANGEL ISLAND, who won several Graded Stakes races. She raced to a record of 16-6-4-3 and earned $203,251 on the track. Angel Face brings in some excellent bloodlines to Glance's gene pool.
Glance is a well bred young filly with a lot of potential on the track, in the show ring and as a broodmare.
