General
Element has a typical Thoroughbred race horse temperment, a little on the wild side, yet controllable. He does have excellent ground and stable manners, however, despite his excietment on the track. When he sees the track, even in a workout, he gets very prancy and dances around. We keep a pony horse with him at all times when he is on the track, usually one of our older, calm horses.
On The Race Horse
Element has raced in 63 races, to an great record of 27-9-12! He has only run out of the money fifteen times in his entire career and is a multiple Grade One winner. He has won 19 Grade I Stakes races, as well as seven Grade II and III. He broke his maiden on his first start (with his former owner, Eaglehill Farms) and then was started in a Grade One immediately after (also with his former owner). I received him as part of a private offer soon after and dropped him back to Grade Two and Three races for a while, where he excelled.
Element is a superstar race horse and he has a very, very bright future ahead of him as a stud when he is retired. Natural Element has already claimed four major awards, Eaglehill's Champion 2 year old Colt, Juvenile Male Horse of the Year (twice!) and POSB July Colt of the Month, all voted awards. Natural Element proved himself as the best 2 year old in 2006, and he was defintely a contender for the best 3 year old in 2007!
On His Pedigree
He is a son of Eaglehill's stallion WILD EMBLEM, who is a highly successful Sim sire. Wild Emblem is by the famous OUR EMBLEM (sire of Derby and Preakness winner WAR EMBLEM) and is out of Eaglehill's mare SILENT SUNDAY (by Sunday Silence and out of a sister to REAL QUIET). On his sire's side, Element traces back to such greats as OUR EMBLEM, PERSONAL ENSIGN, SUNDAY SILENCE and MR. PROSPECTOR.
He is out of FLAWLESS FIGURE, a daughter of the well-known sire, RAHY. She is out of CENTRAL FIGURE, a daughter of ALLEGED.
Element has an outstanding pedigree with many famous horses, both Sim and real life. After he is retired from the track, he will join our outstanding book of champion sires.
