Isle of Eire is a sturdy filly with a great, athletic build and nice temperment. She likes to play like any other foal, but she is a lot more serious than most of our other fillies. She is kind of a 'loner' in regard to other foals, but she seems to like people better and will do anything to please you. Eire has perfect ground manners and is very responsive to leading cues.
On Her Pedigree
Her sire, ENGLISH GARDEN, is a multiple Grade I winner in Sim by the great stallion SADLERS WELLS, who has been the United Kingdom's leading sire in 1990 and from 1992-2002. English Garden was an excellent racehorse for White Oak Farm, claiming five Grade I victories, as well as the Winter Race Series Part Three Grade II Champion, not to mention the Summer 2006 Distance Reserve Horse of the Year title, one of Sim's most coveted awards. He earned over $3.4 million on the track and only placed out of the money twice, both times 4th place finishes. When we saw he had been retired to stud, we couldn't pass up the chance to own one of his foals!
Her dam, ANGEL FACE, is an unraced mare by the incredible sire DANZIG. She is a proven producer of both race horses and steeplechasers for us, we love her foals! Angel Face has one flat racing foal, one steeplechaser and one filly who will hit the track in 2007.
Isle of Eire is a lovely filly with an awesome pedigree, she is double-bred Northern Dancer, plus she has many, many other great sires in her pedigree. She is one of our best-bred young fillies and we are eagerly anticipating her track debut in a couple years!
