~ Bio ~

Very pretty young colt with a lot of drive. He is expected to be an incredible jumper with all the speed of a racehorse, an excellent attribute for steeplechasing and eventing. He is a Diamond Hill Acres homebred purchased as a weanling to be one of our star prospects for the steeplechasing and eventing fields.
His sire is a lovely 3rd level dressage horse owned by DH and is a half brother to the champion steeplechaser LONESOME GLORY, which really attracted us to Train.
His dam is a nice young mare by the famed Sim sire, EL WHISKEY, 2004 Winter Turf Male Horse of the Year, 2005 Summer Reserve Horse of the Year, Stud; AND 2006 Summer Horse of the Year, Stud. We are proud to own an El Whiskey grandfoal.
Train will show in prospect and halter classes until he is two, when he will begin training for steeplechasing. At age three, he will begin 'chasing as a maiden. After that, we will see how he does as a chaser before making the decision at what age to retire him and retrain him as an eventer.
