Serenata`s Freebies ... Messenger Skins

Serenata Nu has developed skins for Yahoo Messenger. If you don't have Yahoo Messenger, click here (will open a new window to download), save the zipped folder to your hard disk, install it. Once you have installed Messenger, you're ready to customize Messenger with any of the following skins:

Calla The calla lily is a beautifully delicate flower and was a favorite of Georgia O'Keeffe's. Ms. O'Keeffe's sweeping style influenced my attempt to create the lily showing its creamy waxy texture and the grace of its geometric folds. This lends itself well to a Messenger skin, as it is light enough for any text which may be over it to be easily read.

Periwinkle The sturdy periwinkles, with a touch of color, cheerfully say “howdy”, and are offered with a wish for a nice day, and an even nicer Yahoo Messenger visit with those who are dear to you. I made this skin at the request of a visitor to the page who liked the periwinkle background so much, she asked for a skin as well. It is a bit darker from the green in the leaves, but it is still easy enough to read the list of your online friends.

Morning Glorious The morning glory grows in the wild in some areas of the country, and is a carefully cultivated garden flower in other areas. If one looks closely inside this particular morning glory, one will see just a hint of a glorious sunrise and a promise of a beautiful day. The best thing about this skin, though, is that the price is just right for this original artwork by Serenata.

Watercolor Have you ever visited a museum or gallery and seen this watercolor that looks like it was done by a third grader whose education should be carefully guided toward a career in math? This Yahoo Messenger Skin is “one of those”! If you like it, I'll admit to being the painter; if you don’t, I'll tell you I did it in third grade. What more can I say? Other people actually get paid for this stuff!
