For this project, I was asked to created the images of a calender. I decided to emphasize typography and use corresponding colors for the season of each month. I then created vector elements for decoration to the typography.
This was some freelance work that I did for a close friend of mine who was getting married. She wanted the stationary suite to look as though it was artfully drawn in a chaulkboard. So after creating the perfect backdrop, I added decorative elements.
This is one of my favorite portaiture images. The woman has this thoughtful expression and she had such a beautiful side profile in the light. The contrast of light and shadows is so beautiful and is really what makes this shot so pretty.
This image was part of a series of landscape photos. I was focusing on the interesting structure and shape of the tree. Once I placed the image in to black and white, the texture of the tree came to life.
When I took this photo I was looking for different shots with a strong depth of field. I had been working on a series that focused on the impact of man on nature, but also what happens when man-made structures are reclaimed by nature.
This was a project that required me to create an advertisement for an art exhibit in New York. I used the style of the artist and reflected it in this flyer. I decided to incorporate the artist's work by placing some in the windows.
