Today I'm very proud. I woke up before 4 pm. Actually it was 2. So, congratulations to myself. Besides, nothing really happened. I practiced the flute. Well, because playing tests start tomorrow and I still can't play the one passage in Overture to "Candide." Yeah, it's a sad world, I know. I also decided to switch schools when I'm back in Germany. It's for my own good, is it really? I don't know. I guess I have to think about that some more. In a few minutes I will go back to practice and after that... Simpsons! My personal highlight for today ;-)

Whoa, I was in a good mood today! We didn't have playing tests (well, tomorrow 2nd bell...), but instead we played "Manhattan." Damn counting... The rest of the day was actually pretty boring, as usual, but the weather was great, almost too hot. Well, I talked to a few friends in Germany (AIM and ICQ be blessed) and enjoyed myself =)

Finally, it's over! I got my "B" so I'm happy =) And I became quite an artist...haha... oh well. In Sign Language we had a grammar and cultural notes test. I kinda messed it up. I forgot two sign. That will bother me for the rest of my life now! ;-) No, I guess nobody's perfect. In U.S. History we watched a movie about the Great War and the bad bad Germans! I have to admit it's pretty entertaining how they teach it here. Oh, before I forget, Inka tried to give me a lesson in "Inka's little counting school," but I guess she gave up... ;-)

Juchu! Jessie came back from Germany and brought me my favorite chocolate, Ritter Sport Nougat =) In Band we played "Hobbits" and that song makes me truly happy. You wouldn't believe it... but I still don't know how to sightread though (or at least not very good) :-/ All the middle school students were out today so we barely had any classes and in English we just watched Hamlet again. Overall a really relaxing day ;-)

The best day ever! In Band, all the first flutes were absent and I got to take over!! I played the solo of the first chair... I'm so happy! =) Even though I totally wasn't prepared for that, it was actually pretty good. Yeah, my moment! I also got to meet Lauren after school and we went shopping for prom dresses. We were successful! ;-)

After school, Marie and I waited for Ryan to go to the movies, but we kind'a missed him. So we took the bus home, but it was raining really hard and our flip flops didn't quite work ;-) Well, we still met Ryan later and watched "Darkness Falls" and played the drums *lol* We even found a tooth brush so that I was able to spend ne night at Marie's =)

I almost didn't get a ride back home from Marie's house, but that was cool. Even though I slept really good, I was very tired. Except that I was just relaxing. We watched some weird movie starring John Travolta. He's an angel or something... pretty funny ;-) When I came home, it wasn't really that exciting. Just chillin', listening to some music and cleaning out the rat cage.

Well, as always I called my dad today. Always my personal highlight ;-) Had to talk about school and stuff. Great, now I have to reapeat the 11th grade, but that's probably better anyway. My host-father fixed my neckless for Prom =) Now it looks really pretty. He also got me some Chinese food, because I was starving to death.

Yeah, concert runthrough! I love that, it's awesome. Mr. H got really mad though, because we can't play "Tempered Steal" up tempo. Oh well, we try... and it's freakin' hard to tongue that high and that fast! What else? I'm finally sure about my prom date ;-) So now I at least don't have to worry about that anymore. And for the last 4 weeks of school I'm from Spanish 1 to Spanish 3, to "challenge" me more....
