All the tension in the world today,
People yelling and screaming, “Get outta my way.”
Stray bullets showering from the sky
How the hell are you going to murder someone,
Who’s got a future, so high?

Do you want to live in an economy,
Where buying gravestones is a commodity?
All these people thinking, “There’s just no stoping me.”
There’s a tension growing, I just want to yell: “Stop and take heed!”

The lamb of God, gets trampled everyday.
Is this what happens to a wandering stray?
People standing, pointing figures arguing who killed him first?
Listen, look, and pay attention - You’re making it worse.

Nirvana, Eden, Paradise, the Elysian Fields…
Do you think you’ll ever see these places, by reaping those deals?
Where do you think your going to spend eternity,
By selling yourself for this atrocity?

But just wait; it’s your lucky day…
You can quit all your bad habits, and dishonest ways.
Just remember, no matter what it’s never too late to change.
