The Outer Scouts, or the Outer Senshi, are the soldiers of the Outer Planets of the Solar System. These scouts are the secondary Guardians of Princess Serenity. Princess Serenity has eight total Guardians, the Princess's of each planet, whom are the senshi of each of their respective plants. There is no senshi of the Earth, and Princess Serenity is the senshi of the Moon, so all of the other planets have a Guardian senshi.In their order of command, the Outer Senshi consist of:
Sailor Uranus
Sailor Neptune
Sailor Saturn
Sailor Pluto
Sailor Moon is the overall leader of all the scouts, as well as the reason for their existence, to protect her. The Outer scouts, unlike the Inners, live their lives serving to Bunny, but also have lives of their own, because the Inner senshi are always with Bunny, and protecting her. In many battles, the outers, like the inners, lay down their lives, and send all of their senshi power to her. The Outers are more powerful scouts than the Inners because they have been warriers for much longer. Not only are they older than the inner senshi, but in the Silver Millinium, the Outer scouts protected the universe from outside invaders at the boarder of the solar system, where their planets are, unlike the Inners who lived on the Moon and only had scout training not actual battles. In the present, the Outers fight many battles without the assistance of Sailor Moon unlike the Inners. The Outer Scouts first appear in the Sailor Moon S series, they are not in every season of Sailor Moon.
