The Inner Scouts, or Inner Senshi are the 5 original scouts of Sailor Moon. They are called the Inner Senshi due to that they are senshi of the inner planets of the Solar System. They are also the primary Guardians of Princess Serenity. Princess Serenity has eight total Guardians, the Princess's of each planet, whom are the senshi of each of their respective plants. There is no senshi of the Earth, and Princess Serenity is the senshi of the Moon, so all of the other planets have a Guardian senshi.

In their order of command, the Inner Senshi consist of:

Sailor Venus

Sailor Mars

Sailor Jupiter

Sailor Mercury

Sailor Moon is also considered to be one of the Inner Senshi, yet she is the overall leader of all the scouts, as well as the reason for their existence, to protect her. The Inner scouts, unlike the Outers, dedicate their lives to protecting Bunny and supporting her. In many battles, they even lay down their lives, and send all of their senshi power to her. The inners are also Bunny's best friends and she spends the majority of her time with them. All of the Inner senshi are in every Sailor Moon series.
