Ilija Paunovic
 

Born in Sombor (Serbia) in 1930. Primary and high school finished in Kragujevac. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, at the Department of Painting, under the tutorship of professor Zora Petrovic. He obtained Master Degree from the same Academy – professor Milo Milunovic. Became a member of ULUS in 1962. He worked as a high school teacher in Belgrade.

Study excursions: Paris, Italy, London, Greece, Egypt, Russia.
