UNDER OATH - ACT OF DEPRESSION

Christian straightedge kids from Florida playing black metal better than many of the premier metal bands around. You heard it here first. The perfect combination of hardcore and black metal. It will satisfy fans of either genre. These kids rock. Proof that great bands are still coming out of Florida. Just awesome. Its been in the changer for about a month now, I listen to it all the time. Buying this will make you cooler. (TAKEHOLD) -MB

UNDYING - THE WHISPERED LIES OF ANGELS

This is where hardcore has been heading for a long time. From the opening, Undying has the listener hooked. Whether you are a metal fan or a hardcore fan you cannot deny the songwriting talent in this band. Whispered lies is able to weave complicated guitar solos together with power riffs and ultra-catchy hardcore breakdowns. Tim's voice fits the intensity of the music perfectly. The lyrics manage to be incredibly deep and thought provoking without coming off as preachy. It is refreshing to see a band who actually stands for something in a sea of groups that stand for nothing. The real heart of this band can best  be seen in their live performances. Whispered Lies of Angels is an album you can listen to over and over again without the songs ever getting old. So play it repeatedly and watch out for Undying on tour. (GOOD LIFE RECORDINGS) -MB
