SUM 41 - ALL KILLER NO FILLER

A fun pop punk release. I hate to make the comparison but its too easy and everyone else is bound to make it anyway, so here it is: They sound like Blink. I could rant here, but I'm reviewing the new Blink album later so I'll save it. Sum 41 is one of the better pop punk bands around. If you like that style, you will like this band. The intro is way metal, and there are two video on the disc you can watch on your PC. And yes, the rumors are true, we here at Seraphim Fall music are, in fact, more punk than you. SUMMON - BAPTIZED IN FIRE

This album falls into the EMPEROR vein. This is not a rip-off by any means, strictly an album going after that sound that EMPEROR has created over the last ten years. Very good musicianship with high quality production. They do have an old school appeal about them. If you are a black metal fan check this out. EXCELLENT! (BAPHOMET RECORDS) -AC

SUMMONING - STRONG HOLD

The first track truly sets the tone for the rest of the record. This album is an amazing blend of different styles. Simply put a combination of Goth, sort of a  Tristania feel and a touch or two of black metal and classical. One track does feature female vocals. If you're looking for something mellow, but dark,  look no further. (NAPALM RECORDS) -AC
